I think you should do a null test,just invert one of the track and play it at same time to hear the different

Tested on another track. This tune has 0.0001 almost invisible delay which causes flanging and phases don't work. But my friend and I have tested on another tune and wav, flac and mp3 all cancel out perfectly. As a matter of fact, I have a video proof. A mentioned tune was released on spinnin records and we also tested an iTunes adapted mastering and achieved the same result.

Hear hear!!! Loved your ending. Thank you for sharing this. I still wouldn't argue with the "purists" it's like trying to argue with a vegan, pointless. As a former post production final mixer (10 years) pre-digtial, I was taught one major thing. Listen to what your ears are telling you.

Could there be a difference when rendering anything more complex than white noise threw a low quality mp3 encoding algorithm?
@ModestIntentions

Of course! Even though I doubt there's anything more complex than a white noise (unless it's a heavily distorted white noise maybe?), low quality MP3 encoding algorithms though are long-forgotten. To put it simply, nowadays MP3 320 encoders keep all information up until above 20k (or as my visualizers seem to show, up until above 20800 hz). At frequency that high even if one could hear the difference it would be insanely low and also, frequency that high could potentially hurt your ears at high loudness. Also on a sidenote, people who claim to have trained ears to hear 20 kHz and higher actually can't do that. The more you expose your ears to music (aka "train your ears") the more long-term damage you do to your perception of ultra high-end frequencies

@@ModestIntentions When I said "more complex" I meant, more dynamic and varied, and when I said "low quality", I meant all MP3s in general, relative to FLAC or Wav, but I get your point about not being able to hear higher frequencies. Playing devils advocate though...isn't the claim from people with "trained ears" that they can hear a difference in the regular hearing range...not that they can hear above 20k? Personally I can't tell the difference so I'm absolutely with you on this, just trying to give a charitable interpretation.

@@mayson2669 there is no difference. A/B tests show that all files cancel each other out actually. lol.
