Thanks for the comment! I'm a big fan of standalone, but there are some advantages to using the software. You can use other plugins and can have more than 8 audio tracks. I'm enjoying using the software. And it comes with the MPC Live.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, 128 midi tracks and 128 audio tracks are available in the full MPC 2 software . Each sequence can contain its own unique audio. I would be impressed if some actually used 128 audio tracks in a sequence to make something musical. Later.

@@aftertheendtimes Right right. Nice. I have seen project in other full fledge DAWs like that. But I was speaking of MPC specifically. I would really like to see it in MPC to make a full song, then I would be impressed because most people don't even use the audio tracks in the MPC. I bet 148 audio tracks in cubase was a fun project to do!

Great video, I got MPC to just have a simpler DAW than Ableton for recording quick stuff. You touched on a question I was thinking of...but did answer the last part. So my question was about a clean signal being recorded which you answered...however, so if we record a clean signal and want to add effects do we just use the space where you have guitar rig and add whatever we want to that area (Inserts)? Basically asking if that area is like a master bus? Hope this makes sense.

Hi! I just bumped into your channel and it's great! Also, I have a question. I installed the VST Guitar Rig 5 plugin and now I can insert it and activate it as you do on the video. Problem is that somehow the Guitar Rig 5 VST doesn't detect my guitar. I can configure the output from the VST plugin to a channel and then use that channel as "Input channel X" (as you did in the video), but the guitar won't be detected by the VST. Guitar Rig 5 as a standalone programs works perfectly and I can use to record my guitar separately. I'm using a Behringer U-Phoria UM2, if that helps. Thank you so much in advance!!

Although I haven’t done it yet, I’m planning on recording guitars into my MPC ONE(w/o using a computer) ...probably thru my Zoom L12. I’m guessing that would be more ideal for connecting/recording multiple instruments into my MPC ONE. Have you done any recording that way? My second related question is that I want to perform songs with backing tracks I’ve created. I’ve thought about loading the stems/tracks into my MPC ONE as a playback method instead of using a computer or tablet. I also had the same idea of just using my Zoom L12 that way too as a backing track player in a live performance setting. Do you have any advice regarding either of those scenarios? Love your channel & thanks!!💯👊🏼

Yes, I've recorded that way before. Works well. Make sure you mute all the channels you are not recording from the L-12 to minimize any noise. The MPC One has audio tracks that you can load stems on. There is a limited amount of RAM you have so you need to stay mindful of that.
