Bro! I just watch your videos cause I like your style of teaching. I already understand and know the subject matter in your videos for the most part, but after that “How to mix” video… It was like I was chilling with my homeboy. Getting straight to the point no fluff just “let me put you on game” vibes. Just Keep doing what doing, how you’re doing it!!!

Or you can hold shift main to get to the grid screen plus if you want that fl studio vibe for arranging is to make your sequence 64 bars or longer thin do intro, hook ,verse etc plus you could use mute group to structure your song is up to you Mpc is a powerful box 👍🏾

@1:04 you didn't mention that holding down the Q-link button gets that display to open. Great tip but you didn't mention how you made that menu open up. @6:22 you opened up a sub-menu with 'cut' option... took me a minute (ok more than one :-) ) to realize you were holding shift to get that sub-menu up. Great tip hope other's notice how you made that menu open... @9:40 you have to hit the 'preferences' icon (gear shaped icon at top right) to get this screen... @11:05 you have to change from drum track type to keys track to get to piano roll by hitting MAIN and then changing to piano key group You got some amazing chops!! Thanks for the help! I'll post additional things that might help others as I come upon them.

I Saul, Andy Mac, do a full arrangement in the grid view back in the old school MPC touch days! But yes, Jae! Break it down, brother do the arrangement! I’ll watch that shit! And it’s not shit!!!, brother I always learn something! even from u lil bro! Life is a journey! I think will be doing OK if we stay focused on this part of the journey! And ignore the rest of what’s going on out there in life! Too much nonsense… MPC life works!

Is there a way to keep the grid view from scrolling up or down while making selections with the picker? When I drag the selector over notes I tend to go too far and it’ll scroll up or down automatically. Better yet is there a button to just select all notes in grid view without using the selector at all?
