“It’s about having the strength to never give up.”
In eastern Taiwan, where mountains are green and waters are clean, Liyu Lake, Hualien is where Mr.CaNoe athletes trained. They've been training here over a decade. In addition to the routine practices, water sport camps are also held on the weekends to promote canoeing, stand-up paddling and other water sports. Providing people a chance to learn and practice these sports.
2018 is the most challenging year for Mr.CaNoe. To gain more experiences, they participated in over 10 domestic and International events. Their hard training paid off, winning many gold medals. On top of these, they earned a spectacular result in the 2018 Asian Games, two golds and one silver. With this result, Taiwan’s dragon boat event reached its highest performance. In the 2018 Asian Games and 13th Asian Dragon Boat Championships, they showed the world how much effort they’ve put into this sport.
After winning the medals in Jakarta, Mr.CaNoe published a calendar for charity. All profits were donated to the minorities in Hualien. They are not only strong in the sport but also strong in caring and loving.
In June, 2018 we had the honor to compete with many great teams at the Concord Pacific Dragon Boat Festival in Vancouver. We are looking forward to have the chance to compete with those great teams again in 2019!
