1. All of your videos are equally awesome and there's no best/worst among them. 2. Apparently Scriabin was ahead of his time as his evolving compositional style literally follows the _Mr. Incredible becomes Uncanny_ meme, at least in terms of musicality - progressive dissonance: Early Op. like the cute Mazurkas would rank first and works like Op. 73, 7th/9th Sonata are terminally uncanny stages.

Enjoyed it, good list. You should make a re-upload. I was expecting something like opus 74 to be at the end of the list as those preludes sound terrifying and messed up (in a good way), but then I realised this rating is based on the difficulty of Scriabin’s piano works.

I think sonata 8 is the hardest scriabin piece for me at least. 5's not even that big of a challenge as I think the 8th is. Especially interptitaively. I think getting a good interpritation is really hard with it. (Not that I've played either, just based on small bits I've learned for fun. I'm not quite on that level yet as I'm currently only on Vers la flamme. Also my sightreading is literally non-existant. I originally started with cello and only some years ago became interested in piano(like maybe 5 or 6 years ago? I was self taught the first years and only a couple of years ago started taking classes). Cello is still currently my main instrument but I'm trying to change it, as I only focus on piano anyway. Why did I feel like I needed to make this long fucking comment? I don't know! Just wanted to rant I guess. And I'm not trying to boast about my progress or the speed of it, just sharing my experience.)

I don't think Sonata 8 is that bad technically. Basically all 10 Sonatas need some sort of good intepretation. Sonata 7 and 5 has far more dangerous technical components imo in concert to do well. Sonata 8 for me also feels far more safe to play under the hands when I sight read it in comparison to 7 and 5.
