Enjoy your R.E. They are giving the competition a run for their money. The R.E. 650 engine is sweet. I got to demo several R.E. models. The you tube gal,”Ichy Boots” who did have a Himalayan went all over with it and loved it. She also got to try out the new 450 version. She liked the upgrade. She then went onto a Honda 300 CRF which she loves. She currently is back in the Netherlands where she’s from because she wiped out in Africa and broke her collarbone and in surgery they punctured her lung. Her videos are interesting and has many with her Himalayan. Thanks for sharing your new ride. Currently I’m trying to troubleshoot a short with my directionals on my XS650C. Keeps piping the fuse when I engage them. My flasher relay looks like it arched.

And so far I'm really enjoying the Scram 411. Wow I didn't realize itchy boots had crashed that bad. I hope everything works out for her. As for checking out wiring it's always a pain. I finally went with a badlands turn signal setup which works in a process at 11 seconds and automatically turning off. Thanks for watching.

I enjoy working on the old Hondas and '90s and the 360s but sometimes it can be a bit of a pain to find the parts.

Good call on that switch to turn off the ABS

The ABS switch is something I've seen on another video. The motorcycle dealer that I bought the bike from said to just to pull the fuse. I didn't want to have to remove the seat every time I needed to put the fuse back in or pull the fuse so that was my solution. Hey thanks for watching.

@@outlaw86custom when I had a newer bike and I had a fuel management system and I had put in a fuel enhancer.. for the injectors I wanted to feel what the difference was so I did a similar thing. I put in a switch so when I switched it the fuel enhancer was actually doing its job the little electronic unit and then when I turn the switch off it was shut off and go back to the normal computer program that it mapped out in the computer.. and I wanted to feel real time difference. Right then and there so I wouldn't have to so I could. Really notice the difference and it worked...

I've been curious about the Royal Enfields, and using one as a lighter weight adv bike. I like the mods you made. Does the tuner you installed help with the lean condition, especially after opening up the airflow and a different exhaust? That probably has a catalytic converter and an o2 sensor underneath, does the skid plate protect them?

So far I really like the bike, with mods it seems to run stronger. As for O2 sensor it's located at the upper end of the head pipe. Thanks for watching.
