I think it would be a bit easier to understand, if you label the most important proteins with their names throughout the entire animation. But nonetheless thank you for this video!

Is there a difference between Group 1 and Group 2 splicing mechanisms? As I understand it, the self-splicing mechanism at the start of the video only applies to Group 1 introns; whereas, in group 2 introns, a lariat is formed before splicing. How is Group 2 splicing different to Group 1, if ever?
