@@corradocampo my daughter grew up loved. Her father CHOSE to leave her with my mother when I was in the hospital fighting for my life due to complications during birth. He decided it was too much for him. I did everything I could to make sure my daughter had a relationship with her father but HE chose not to want to be a part of her life. I finally went to court when she was 8 and got full sole custody because we were traveling out the country and I needed permission from her father to take her out the country. Permission from a man who never did a single thing for my daughter other than donate his sperm that I never asked for because he put a hole in the condom. PLEASE! He still could have seen her and had a relationship with her but again HE chose not to. MY daughter is a college graduate and on her way to Medical School. She has chosen to follow in MY footsteps steps and prayerfully become a surgeon like her mother. Please do not assume you know ANYTHING about me because of 5 sentences that I wrote. I have zero debt, an excellent credit score. I own my house (no mortgage) and I paid my daughter’s out of state tuition room and board for 4 years out of pocket so she would not have any school loans to repay when she graduated. We went on a 3 week vacation to Europe as a graduation gift and when we returned the deed to a 4BR 4 bathroom fully furnished 3 story house in a Northern suburb was waiting for her. See I took care of my responsibility. I did not get tired and just disappear the way her father chose to do. Funny how when he learned that she owned her own home he suddenly contacted her asking if he could stay with her for a while because he was having serious financial problems. Like I said you know nothing about me and how blessed my daughter and I are. Imagine I was able to do all that without her father ever paying a dime in child support. All glory goes to GOD.

What a performance. What a song. From the meaning, who it’s for, to her voice, her dancing, her beauty, her outfit, Santana’s guitar, the band. Everything. Can’t even express how incredibly beautiful of an artist Lauryn is. How gifted she is in every way. It’s like she’s magical fr. I’m Gen Z, but man whenever I listen to her music or watch her perform, it makes me wish we still had artists like her making music. This level of talent nd passion for music jus ain’t around anymore. That’s why I wish she coulda continued releasing albums, but I’m already informed on why she stopped. I understand it. Still tho, even with the strong legacy she’s left behind which will live on forever, imagine the MUCH greater impact she coulda had on future generations had she put out more work. It really makes me sad that this one album is all we really got (besides Fugees stuff). I guess that’s what makes this one album as special as it is. It was enough. It’s all we needed. What it’s become til this day proves that.
