Hello! Pediatric healthcare early intervention clinical worker here and I’ve never been pro Miss Rachel. When friends have asked I’ve always been a hard no. She says she follows current research trends but if she did she would know the research on early exposure to tech for children. Including other impacts of early tech exposure to children on sleep, digestion, regulation, vision, and motor development. I understand that parents are busy. I grew up pre tech era and my parents were equally as busy and found ways to entertain and promote development with items in the home. Allowing children to explore and problem solve provides more developmental feedback than free range tech. Movie nights can be a treat that encourages connection and dialogue which boosts social emotional development but not without active parent involvement. Steve Jobs never allowed his children to engage with tech and that should tell you everything. They have the research. It’s just profitable to promote it as “developmental” and hook line and sinker. It’s all marketing.

exactly, I don't trust Mrs Rachel even before the scandal. Someone who truly cares about children will create content that teaches the parents. Instead she created addictive content for lazy parents who rather let Mrs Rachel "teach" their kids. She reminds me of blippi another problematic child content creator. Yuck. I understand creating small segments that follow a concept that is being taught, for example, a video on ocean animals and vocabulary for parents to use alongside a lesson. Mr Rachel's purpose is to entertain and apparently to promote lgbt propaganda.

I watched closely because Jules was clearly “androgynous”, so I knew the creators were open minded, but back then Jules was really just a person that was clearly a woman that dressed more masculine…as some straight women do… but just sang nursery songs. She appears to be sincere, yet confused concerning the Holy Scriptures. The LORD God CLEARLY calls homosexuality an abomination. Period. No, he says male pen is an abomination. Not relationships, not romance, not intimacy, not all erotica. This would be the same as saying a straight couple is forbidden from doing particular acts… unless you think God approves you to have free reign over your perversions? Just because it isn’t mentioned doesn’t mean it is not an abomination. In the NT, the act of normal straight love before marriage is in the same exact category. Yet it’s norm in society to date before marriage. St Paul even says in his conviction that God would prefer those unmarried to not marry, and for only those who struggle with lust to marry… for marriage to God is preferable, and having a family is not preferable.

But God doubted his course of action after the flood. Jesus went to Paul with revisions to what was acceptable forms of meat to consume. And the word in modern translations that we call "homosexual" is a translation from an original word that means "pedophilia." So God may not change, but man's translations have. And if sin is equal, why do we give so much weight to homosexuality? Clothing of mixed fabrics is a sin, and they're promoted in advertisements all day, everywhere. No one ever seems to criticize them. Divorce is mentioned many more times than homosexuality, yet many conservatives utilize divorce as readily as their progressive neighbors. Our cherry picking of which sins are worth regular condemnation seem to correlate with our own personal preferences. I'll ignore the mixed fabric mandate because my favorite dress is of mixed fabrics. I'll ignore the divorce mandate because we've grown apart and agree divorcing is best for both of us. I'll condemn LGBTQ because the only thing I can think of when I see them is how they choose to approach sexual relations, in ways I never would want to, so I'm grossed out and ready to focus my disgust on the notion of sin to justify my vocal condemnation. Terribly hypocritical. Children of divorcees are more likely to experience martial conflict and divorce themselves... at least any genetic predisposition to sin usually ends with homosexuals, as they generally aren't reproducing 😂.
@voodooprincess11

You do need to consider that there are multiple words in the Hebrew and Greek that merged into the English word abomination. Anything from pride to murder was referred to as an abomination. With regards to homosexual or lesbian relationships there are multiple reason for these relationships to be considered bad/toxic to society/problematic in general. One being that many same sex relationships involved pederasty and infidelity, (disruption of families and marriages and predatory relationships). And yet another reason and quite important is that the first ever command to man and beast in the Bible was to procreate and replenish the Earth. Obviously, same sex relationships are incapable of procreating naturally or easily. God didn't author the Bible and create the rules within to be a big old meanie. He is able to see the bigger picture of everything and how certain things will play out in society and our future trajectory.

Thanks for the episode Allie. I just got home from walking out in the middle of toddler story time at my local library. She was starting to read a story called Prince and Knight where the prince falls in love with the knight instead of a princess.

I am 100% pro screen time - within reason. Earned through reading, chores, school work outside of school and on a case by case basis of what they are allowed to watch and whether or not it is without direct supervision. Miss Rachel, however, I have not heard of. Thankfully. But KZitem kids or otherwise isn’t on the table for viewing with my kids. Sometimes with school stuff, I’ll watch with them science videos or line riders for music class. Otherwise NOPE.

Great job today, Allie! The quality of this program keeps improving with the urgency of the times. Peace unto you! :) The comments section and issues of the day? Is what it is. As is politics around the world. Almost life or death (but that's really been the situation since people's response to Empire, Islam, and the French Revolution). But really, if the content were organized and in a better format than say the streets of 2024 and the 2024 US "to be or not to be" election - would it all be any easier to address...?

I'm 65 yrs old. I was raised Catholic and knew nothing about the Bible..had never seen one, read one, that is, until I met my husband. We had to drive to TN and on the way stopped in Maryland to visit his grandmother. She asked us to take her to church that Sunday (Methodist) and I was so nervous bc I had never been in a Protestant church before. I loved it! There were Bibles in the pews!! So I got to read along with the pastor. The message had life in it..where as in the Catholic Church it was more of a ritual..everything you repeated every week was the same. Anyway... I started reading Genesis and how we were created. In my mind, if you look at hiw males and females were created (I don't want to get graphic, but I think everyone will know what I mean) so the human male and female (parts, anatomy) were _designed_ to fit together! To procreate. And ofc there is enjoyment but there is love with your husband or wife. But our anatomy was made to fit together..like beautiful puzzle pieces. What I'm saying is men were not ment to 'fit' with men and women were not meant to 'fit' with women anatomically. Its in the bible too ..that men shakl not lay eith another man. So how can we or them, celebrate this pride thing. Funny they chose that word bc like you said Ali, pride come before destruction.

I've always said all are and should be welcome in church, but that we should remember we come as sinners. We should always be open for holy spirit to convict us of our sins. If we are Christian and love Christ then we are in a process of being transformed into His likeness, but with lgbtq+ allies they are instead transforming Christ into their image. Its a difficult/sensitive subject to discuss with people due to the fact its connected with ones personal identity and many see it - wrongly so - as the same thing as ethnicity/race issues rather than a sin issue. Unless God has given you a heart for lgbtq, where you can love them, whilst loving Him/the truth more and let Him lead in walking/talking with them. I don't think everyone who knows the truth can witness to anyone who doesn't

The church was always the body of Christ, those who repented turned from sin and follow Christ…if the lost come among us it should be that they want Jesus…including those in the alphabet community and willing to be accountable and die to self..putting away their desires…if not just like any of us who would possibly walk in practiced sin, they should be corrected.
@modestmama7275

A common misunderstanding is that the church is for sinners/ seekers, but this is incorrect … the church is a gathering of believers, the church is the bride of Christ… so that’s definitely not unrepentant sinners

Hi. Thank you for sharing TRUTH. Do you think it is wrong to send our children to public schools? I have a son and daughter and I teach my children Christian values and make sure they are aware of what Satan is doing in our schools. My daughter loves cheer and dance and is talented in this area. A lot of the Christian schools in our region do not offer cheerleading and that is a reason I am still sending her to public schools. My son is going into high school and I have had conversations with him on what is morally wrong that he is seeing and witnessing in the public school. Right now the public school they go to does not support title 9. The middle and high public school my daughter will go to has a great cheerleading program and has won many competitions. My daughter is 8. I have talked with her about going to a Christian school b/c I do not support title 9 and if her public school ever starts letting a transwoman in her bathroom that I will have to send her to a Christian school b/c I do not support that at all and I do not think it is safe. I will let my son finish all his years in public school b/c I feel he understands the difference and is open that he agrees that LGBTQ is a sin and these people are deceived and in need of christ and truth. Christian schools are expensive and I also put money away for my children's college. Would love your advice and thoughts. Thanks.

My now four year old had a speech delay. A few years ago I found Ms Rachel and played it for him. I wasn’t really paying attention and assumed it was all great. My 9 year old son got me and pointed out a character that looked like a girl trying to be a boy. I didn’t research, but I got the impression that something was off. So I stopped playing Miss Rachel after that. I now know it was Jules…I haven’t talked much to my kids about the gender nonsense. I just teach them the truth. That way when they see it, they know something isn’t right. And to the people who say I am sheltering my kids. Yes, I am, until they are more mature and can have these conversations at an age appropriate level.
