Nice i have the same laptop. I added a 2tb ssd and maxxed out the ram to 64gb since i had to remove the bottom cover anyways haha. The xbox controller was it just plug and play?
@RyanCasey007

Yeah, the Xbox controller plugs in very well. I like it but may upgrade to a real Microsoft controller soon. Right now the PowerA is what I use. I also upgraded my storage with a sata III 2.5 ssd qvo 870 1tb. Works great because I only had half a tb when I bought it.

@@RyanCasey007 Well currently I’m looking at the MSI GL75 Leopard 10SDK-408 to be exact. If it’s actually good I may have to get it because they are selling it for $1,149.99 so lowest I have seen so far. Thanks!
@RyanCasey007

@@lordhenixtwitch so I noticed it has a 1660 ti GTX GPU. The 10sfk gl65 has a rtx 2070 looking at user benchmark between the 2 im happy with my purchase. I also just bought an MSI monitor 165hz at 1440p 27" for just under $400 to pair with my laptop. So it is up to you. You'll pay less than a 10sfk gl65 and get comparable results with a bigger screen if you go with the gl75. But if you have a desk at home and want to use a bigger gaming display more than you might be traveling, I'd still buy the gl65 over again. They both are a bit outdated, but for the price, you might like the bigger screen. The biggest and only reason for the price difference is the gpu. The GTX 1660Ti is about 200 dollars off from the RTX 2070.

Do you think it's still worth buying this laptop in mid 2021? I had bought it at around the time you uploaded this video but I ended up returning for some rather dumb reasons, and now I'm debating whether to rebuy it or not since the new laptops are crazy expensive and rarely on stock (in fact most haven't come out yet even when we are already in Q2 2021...)

is it true that This laptop produces noise during intensive tasks such as gaming? how long does battery lasts? how good is the sound?
@RyanCasey007
3 жыл бұрын
It has two fans that spin at 6000 RPM and yes they do produce sound. I dont find it off-putting. I usually use speakers or headphones, but the stock speakers are very nice. It depends on what you use the laptop for when it is unplugged. But it is definitely not the longest lasting battery. So if you want to game, you'll have to be plugged in. It isn't something I would take to a coffee shop for writing without the power cord. Though I only keep it charged to 50% for battery health so maybe it just seems to be low.

That 2nd key is recovery key . Not RGB key . Do double check it .
@RyanCasey007

The second key on this laptop is customizable. However the default is to switch keyboard configurations between the presets. It can now be modified through the steel series GG engine. On computers without the Steel Series Keyboard, it is automatically the Dragon Center Button. Could you drop a link to documentation showing that is is the recovery key? Here is the link I used to double check as well as I personally just spent 10 minutes playing with my configurations using the key. \MS-16U7_MS-16U8_v1.0_English.pdf

It depends what.graphics card you want and what you're willing to pay. I like the GL65 10SFK that I have. If you want to play more games more often get one with a bigger SSD though.
