I want it to code during work hours and then play at night. I am afraid of burning the pixels due to extensive use, mainly when encoding. Could you give me any recommendations on this please?

VA panels would suit you best most likely. Not only due to no worries about burning pixels, but also due to better text clarity which might become critical for you if you do a lot of coding. Something like XG49WCR perhaps? Anyhow, if you are deadset on OLED, then this one might be good or the Asus OLED version which also seems to have file transfer on the KVM (if that is important for you). I would like to have it to move some heavier tasks (and their files) from my laptop to desktop for running while I work on something else.

@@InnocentiusLacrimosa I had an ultrawide monitor with a VA panel once, it was actually an ASUS TUF version. For coding, it was great, but for play not so much, I had a lot of ghosting. That's why I looked at the OLED options and thought that maybe this MSI would be the best option, because it has "anti-burned pixel protectors", what do you think?

@@andreshernandez1779 I do not really know enough about these specific models to know which one will be the best for long term use. But if you have tried VA and have not liked it, then perhaps OLED is the way to go next. Most modern OLEDs have various methods to protect them, the names for those methods may be different, but only time will tell which ones will be the best. I would pick the screen based on what other features it has that you might want to have.

@@andreshernandez1779 The Asus OLED has similar burn in protection including dimming static logos, shifting everything by a fer pixels every so often, and things like Pixel Correction, this one has similar things the only thing I haven't seen an MSI equivalent of is the Pixel Correction

@@andreshernandez1779 hi, I'm having the same doubt as you. What did you do in the end?
