Hi. In the bios there is a setting that you must change. It a start up test. Change that to zero or 1. That's the amount of times it will reset before the machine starts and boots to windows. Had the same problem

Hi all, ive made a BIOS/UEFI Update to the new version 7A33v58, (former was 7A33v55). Since the update i have no more annoying beeps on startup and my GSkill RipJaws V 3200 run @3200. They also done it before - but i've got 1000x times the annoying beeps on statup. The new bios seems to fix the memory/frequency boot issue. At least for me. :-)

Thank you so much for posting this comment. I have updated my bios to 7133v58 and I booted right up with my DRAM running at 3200MHz, and no issues. This is only on my first boot, so I hope it stays that way. Thank you again!

Hi Hobbyist make a vid of the solution I post below Here is the solution for everyone having overclock/boot problems like I was with this board. Make sure read all and do all to cut out problems and own thoughts that won't work. I have full ram speed 3200mhz @ 15,15,15, 35, 1T AND 4.000mhz Cpu. 1. Make sure your bios is up to date and all settings are default 2. Now click the game boost button on top left of bios screen then save and exit (Don't worry about the default 3.8 overclock made by game boost button for the moment) 3. You should see some yellow writing on boot screen before reaching the desktop. 4. after reaching the desktop restart pc and enter bios again 5. when in bios this time click the A-XMP button and pick which out of the 2 profiles is your ram speed then press F7 until you see fan info on lest column, go in there and turn the smart fan back on, save and exit 6. after reaching the desktop restart your pc and go into the bios for the last time. 7. in bios now you should see the CPU overclocked speed and more importantly your right ram speed. Open advanced DRAM option in OC section and check to see if the timings match your right ones. If they don't then change them. (only first 1 was wrong for me so I changed it from 16 to 15) Now change the ram voltage in OC section to your right 1 and Don't touch anything else Save and exit to desktop. 8. Now download Ryzen master software and on the current window that shows on opening the software You will see your ram has correct speed and timings and voltages. Now in order to get Cpu overclocked further from the one game boost created in step.2 Click on number 1 on the bottom left of that Ryzen master software and the only 2 settings that you touch in number 1 is CPU Voltage and Speed(MHz) then apply on the top right and run test programmes like HW Monitor, CPUZ Etc When you are happy and CPU overclock stable just click save Profile in Ryzen Master software............... Important!!!!! Every time you start your pc, Open that Ryzen Master software and apply that number 1 profile Reason being is because PC will always restart with the game boost CPU overclock and this my method to get both ram and CPU overclock working right together without boot problems. Glad it helps :) Hobbyist make a vid to make it easier for users to follow maybe.

QTModz what if my motherboard boots up and shows all the lights and fans are running but is not connecting to the screen? The HDMI cord is perfectly fine but when I boot it up the “cpu” light comes on then goes away and the “DRAM” light lights up, I’m really not sure what to do at this point.

That's odd. I have the same mother board with a r7 1700x at 4ghz and 3200mhz ram. The only problem mine has is it takes a while to boot up even with my m.2 but it's still fairly quick and my front case fans take a second to start but that might be because they're 200mm and spin slow

Thanks for the note. My PC is actually running at 3200 MHz for a while now with the latest BIOS. No more issues with BSODs, too. I ran memtest86+ overnight a month or two ago and no issues, so I'm confident with this box now. My PC boots quickly for me. I timed it to be sure and I got the login screen 20 seconds after pressing the ON switch. I'm very happy with it now!

im starting to think the debug is simply not working on these msi x370 MOBOs, giving false positives and boot cycling even after all the bios updates the PC runs even when those lights are on so i bet thats all they changed is allowing the PC to still boot with "problems" even tho they prolly arent happening and now im getting a pcie slot red light and everythings running fine

its not a bad mobo ive had this thing for over a year now, mines a gaming pro im stable at 3200 as well, with m-die even, but the debug lights are on ive seen many videos of others running stable with some debug lights on, on x370 mobos even right now i got the dimms and that pcie red but im mining on the CPU and a 2nd gpu while playing a game on the 1st, core is 4025 too whats new today is the debug lights, the actual ones along the right edge are not on which leads me to believe the debug does not work properly and gives false positives therefore the only difference between this bios and the older ones is they prolly disabled the debug from boot cycling

Hi, I've got the same problem. MSI x370 gaming plus + Ryzen 1600X + G.Skill RipJaws V schwarz DIMM Kit 16GB, DDR4-3200, CL16-16-16-36 2x(F4-3200C16D-8GVK) If i run them on XMP with 3200Mhz i got the rebooting-error in 75% of all times. But sometimes no problems - direct and fast boot to windows. Now i have reduced RAM speed to 3000 - error is nearly gone. Only in 1 out of 10 Startup i got this error. I dont understand what the problem is - because - if the PC is in Windows - it runs completly stable. In gaming, Benchmarks, prime95 and RAM Tests - no issue. Only the boot sequenze seems to be the problem :-(
