Very nice video. You showed the summit portion of the climb better than anybody else has. I had never seen the early morning hours of the climb before. I guess most people think if it's dark, it's not interesting. But it was very interesting to me because I would like to climb Elbrus someday. Thank you very much.

They are too early. They could see more fantastic view at the sunset from 5000-5200m. Elbrus shadow and all that skyline :) And it's freezing on the saddle before sunset.

Nice vid! It deserves more views! It shows montain and climbing in details without stupid music, random people eating, ads and other bs. Priceless. Seems like I've met Samrat at Cheget village early in the morning 11 Aug. We had smalltalk about weather conditions at the summit. If it was you, my congrats to you and your team. Anyway congrats, you've done well and weather was so good.

Hi guys, nice video... on which day have you been at the summit exactly? I was up there on August 13 and looking at the weather it might habe been the same week or even day

When I look at the recording from 7:50 min. I don't understand what these people are looking for on the mountain. Even more dependent and you would have to change their diapers. The fact that you don't manage to put on the carabiner all by yourself is terrible... that has nothing to do with alpinism. This mountain is perfect for climbing it independently and responsibly in a group. But without any technical support, so by fair means without cablecars. The video itself turned out very well, of course. Thank you. I am living in the California Bay Area too and I want to do this. What tour operator did you use? Did you summit Elbrus by the South route or the north? How did you get the visa for it? Where was your base camp (before the final summit morning)? How much did it cost (excluding flight prices)? This is south route ("classic"). Base camp is near Garabashi station. Operator is mentioned in the vid, Pilgrim tour. You can make it totally yourself without guides though. $1000-1500 is feasible (except visas and flights).

@@imaginedreams2002 I spent less than 100000 rub. (less than $1500) in 2019. Lived in the hotels, eat in cafes, rented all equip. I even used snowcat couple of times. I'm russian but that's not the case. Met people from various countries doing same. All things except snowcats and guides services are cheap.

Guides do not allow changing carabiner by ourselves - of course real mountaineers may not need the guides, which we are not
