𝗠𝘁. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻 - 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗹
A documentary of our 4-day journey traversing one of the hardest and longest trails here in the Philippines. This trail spans 42 kilometers uphill and downhill, through heavy rain, thick forest, cliffs, ridges, mud, snakes, and mossy forest, all while carrying heavy bags on our backs. The trail was nothing compared to my previous climbs, but we were rewarded with beautiful weather upon reaching the summit. IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!
I met new friends! The 4-day trek with these incredible people was fun and amazing. We shared food, stories, and experiences, and we opened up to each other. Spending time with people who share the same passion and care for nature is something rarely experienced by others, but for us mountaineers, it is a gift given every time we climb. That is one of the reasons I love to climb. To the people who laughed and shared their stories with me, thank you! 𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙭𝙩 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣!
