This videeo takes a look at Mt. St. Helens 42 years after the eruption and the remaining effects on nature and the environment. Windy Ridge Viewpoint is northwest of the mountain, where most of the hot gases, rock, and ash blew out of the mountain. Even 42 years later, you can see the old growth timber snapped of at the ground, areas covered in ash that has very little plant growth. Nature does have a way of renewing itself, and you can start to see new trees, plants, and animals starting to make this area as beautiful as it once was. We hope you enjoy the video. Stay tuned to the end to catch a quick look where Seniot Snoops is attacked by wildlife.
