Being immune to Terror, effectively immune to Bolt, and having Vigilance helps. Ishan's Shade was a good card for years from Homelands just because it was big, immune to Terror and Plowshares, and resistant to Bolt. Also Mana Drain, Karakas, Tabernacle, the 0 mana Kobolds...

It is odd how Jund is such an AMAZING combination of colors that it can compete in several highly competitive formats most of the time, and yet, rarely does it ever receive a single card with all three colors that actually defines a competitive meta. Korvold was literally the first in like 10+ years. The Thrinax and Dragon were the first since Legends. It is kind of a weird pattern ._.
@makenshao9886

It probably doesn't helps that Jund's actual mechanic, Devour, is really all not that great, and you can see how the card in this list that were meant to enable it like Sprouting Thrinax got more use as use efficient bodies that as part of a Jund Devour deck.. Also we have to take in account that Wedges have two sets now with Ikoria, and since Niz is using Color Identity the cards with Hybrid Mana colors in Tarkir always appear in the wedges top 10 since they could also be easily used in two-color decks. Meanwhile of Alara's hybrid mana cards the only one that seems to have widespread use is Thopter's Foundry and the rest mostly were multicolor takes of limited effects just for the sake of Conflux's gimmick.

I've noticed this for a lot of color combos, especially for edh. If you look at some color combos, like Gruul, they LOVE playing their 2 color spells but if you look at another combo, like Azorius (or just about any color combo with white) they barely have any and most of the cards they do run are new like Dovin's Veto.

Ahhh Jund, as someone who started playing around Ixilan I have no particular attachment to the shards and clans associated with them. As evidenced by the fact that until looking it up just then I didn't realise that the shards and Jund were from Alara and not Tarkir clans. Still, I suppose that level of forgettableness comes when you don't even have any cards with Vintage points. Maybe you should do "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)" to help us all out!

Ok, so that's my first time trying to guess the list before watching the video... I'd say Jund Charm (quite high, 1 or 2) , Broodmate Dragon (in the middle of the list), Sprouting Thrinax (somewhere between 5 and 7) and Korvold (around 4 I'd say) are obviously on the list. I'm not sure about the Jund Ultimatum making it, I guess there's not a lot of Jund cards so it might be, but around 9 or 10 if so.
