Thanks Dan. I appreciate all the encouragement and great video work you do. Your vid's are one reason why I had to get my collection started. I couldn't resist any longer. See what you guy's started? :)

Absolutely SMOKIN COOL Marc !!! My first O scale layout was a shelf also... loved it, and yours is twice as wide... very cool... You are going to ask how you lived before DCS once you play with it,... lol... Really great to see you running the trains, I must say those Helo's look incredibly fun though... Best of luck with it... will definitely be looking forward to follow ups... 10/5 stars Sir !!!

I know it's been a while since you posted the video. But something you might be able to do with the anchor lines, is make them look a bit like trees. Paint the rods brown and make some green branches. I think that would look rather quite cool up there.

@ILSRWY4 You bet I do. The TV sits a top the fridge that I stocked with every cold beverage. I am a self admitting garage and basement rat. It's just what I do. At least during the winter months. No real reason for the black paint, just wanted to put a finishing coat on the wood. I probably was thinking along the lines of grease and grime instead of green grass. Thanks, Marc

Very neat layout!!! What is the threaded rod screwed into that screws into the ceiling??? I really like this idea better that the way I've suspended my upper loop in my basement. Thanks very much for posting and sharing with us. Much appreciated.

I used these screws that have threads on one end to thread into the ceiling joists and the opposite end accepts 1/4" threaded rod. Home Depot or Lowes has all this in the same area where they keep their threaded rod. worked awesome. It was incredibly stable.
