Ingredients
Muthira (horse gram ) - 1 cup
Salt -
Water -1 cup
Curry leaves -
Oil-2 tbsp
Small onion -15
Crushed chilli flakes -2 tbsp
Grated coconut -4 tbsp
Method
Soak 1 cup of Muthira overnight. Keep it in the sieve and drain the water. Then keep it for sprouting. Put the sprouts into a cooker add water and salt. Cook it for 2 whistles. When the pressure releases itself check if the muthira has cooked well. Take a wok add some oil . heat on medium flame add curry leaves, green chilly, shallots and salt. Saute well. Let the shallots turn golden brown. Add chilly flakes. Saute. Add grated coconut. Saute well. Add the cooked muthira. Saute well. Turn of the heat and garnish with curry leaves and coconut oil.
