You went to the trouble of getting a great expert on the aircraft, then failed to record (sound esp but also focus) properly so fully half of what he had to say is lost.

Has a very small cramped cockpit. Very noisy as well unless you want to spend big bucks for a propeller upgrade that reduces the noise levels. This aircraft was originally designed as a military aircraft, not a civilian one.

@x y It does have a tight cockpit. Almost as tight as a Lear 25. The plane is loud on the ground for sure. This aircraft requires adherence to flight parameters. Geting sloppy on one engine close to the ground usually results with a funeral. Flown properly the aircraft gives lots of performance.

Compared to what? Sure, cockpit is tighter than KA350 but its quite roomy for its size. Certainly much roomier than my old 340A. I'm 6'3" 225 with 37" inseam. ANR headset eliminates the noise issue on ground, once in flight, noise level similar to KA200 or similar vintage. We added EAR sound insulation and ours is very comfortable

XY (no real name) Your lack of knowledge shows your only experience with this airplane is reading articles written by others with no experience with the airplane while during your morning constitution in the john.

Hmmmm..... Dash 10 engines with 840 HP and STD. 3 blade props??? I thought the -10 produced 1000 HP at max power. Also Mitsubishi went to 4 blade props with the -10. Is this wrong?
@bluefishbeagle1

you are correct no -10 I know of would be caught dead with only three blades
@abreonamarrocco

@@bluefishbeagle1 The -10 conversion for the pre 1977 models use the original gear box from the -6 engine and 3 blade props turning at 2000 rpm. The 4 blade props are "slow turn" and turn in the opposite direction at 1591 rpm max. The 3 blades are actually more efficient, lighter and slightly faster. There are 5 blade props available which are a bit less noisy, climb faster and accelerate faster on takeoff roll ... for about $100K

One of the few private aircraft that require a yearly simulator training review because of its safety record. Would not own one of these.

Under skilled pilot w/proper training, one of the most capable aircraft ever built. Not for those lacking skill but a very safe and beautifully engineered for those w/proper training

Correction Kemosabe, only one with FAA mandated training. Go buy a King Air tell your insurance company that you are not doing yearly training and see how fast they drop your policy... Haven' t the King Airs been falling out of the sky quite a bit lately? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

HAHA you must sell King Air's. which have a perfect safety record rightttttttttttt? The Mits' beat KA's on safety since the SFAR. Maybe KA pilots need to do yearly training too and come up to speed they seem to be falling out of the sky on a regular basis lately
