WOLVERHAMPTON Thaiboxer Reece Crooke admits time is running out for him to make his mark on the world stage.
The 27-year-old returns to action tonight in his home town captaining a England side that will take on some of Thailand's best fighters.
It will be Crooke's second attempt to crack the big time after being denied six months ago when he suffered a badly gashed head against Japan's Nobuchika Terado.
Crooke had planned to use that fight to showcase his talents to the lucrative Far East market, but will now attempt to do that against Komkit Sornchai.
"That last fight would've been shown in Japan because he's the country's No.1 and their golden boy," he said. "It had been in the planning for 12 months and it was going to be the big step"I wanted to prove myself because my fighting was going really well.
"I'd won the first round, he won the second and then in the third we both went to throw an elbow and he got me a split second before I did, on the middle of my forehead.
