Very clear and remarkable. Muddy, such a legend, Pinetop playing so well, reminiscent of Roosevelt Sykes “Honey Dripper”.

1:05 Very profound look here in Muddy's face before walking onto the stage. I wonder what he was thinking...he seemed to perk up right as Pinetop began, but then seems to drop into a deep sorrow. So much... sadness. Maybe he was thinking about doing this number with Little Walter, who'd past over a decade before. Reminds me of Bob Margolin's response in the Blues Revue magazine #20, talking about how Muddy was always troubled, carrying the burden of the blues with him his whole life. The stories that lie behind those eyes..... how can one not feel a heavy heart in this moment?
