Shri Gurudeva addresses some common problems collated from numerous letters addressed to him:
1. tiredness and uneasiness
2. cannot do mudra, nidra (sleep) and mantra
3. If mantra is chanted, family members suspect of me doing any black magic. Nobody believes in mantra at my place.
4. Want to learn mudra mantra and teach others, but how can I do in this environment.
5. Can I do mudra mantra during menses or during sootaka (10 days after a family member is dead).
6. I cannot perform mudra mantra continuously for many days and end up with breaks due to laziness or mood off. Hence not getting results.
7. I get doubt whether these remedies will work or not.
Reasons:
1. Mental stress (jealousy, anger, ego etc)
2. Physical strain (bad lifestyle and eating habits)
Toxins are entering body from outside and from within. The earth element (bhoo tatwa) is contaminated from such toxins. This leads to severe pains and mudra is the only drugless medicine. And what about the toxins in mind and soul?
Solutions:
1. Chant mantras in mind and not loudly, this way no one will know what you are doing. Mind gets trained by these mantra chanting regularly and the vasanas in the soul (anger, jealousy, etc) will be cleared. Chant while sleeping or while walking.
2. Chant the beeja mantra AIM, this removes fear and increases concentration. Also avoids disturbances for doing mudra mantra continuously. One should not expose spiritual sadhana, this will avoid drushti dosha.
3. Mudra to cleanse jala tatwa - refer episode
4. Increase agni element at home - homa, deepa, agnihotra
5. Do mudra mantras in a place where there is good air flow or open space.
6. There is sootaka only to body and not for soul. Hence, mudra mantra can be done during sootaka or menstruation too to remove toxins and bad emotions.
7. To remove impurities in soul, chant HAMSAHA. This will give tejas to soul and mantra siddhi will become easy.
8. Chant OM to shut all hindrances/disturbances.
