All time Charlote career assist and steals leader. A foot shorter than players who are considered “undersized”. The Hornets were my favorite team growing up as a kid in the early 90's. Alonzo, LJ, Curry, Gill, Newman, Bogues, Curry, these guys were so much fun to watch. Short, quick players with handles that have high IQ, a good jumper and finesse around the rim are always hard to guard, they use their size to their advantage, that's when the basketball IQ takes over....something a lot of players lack today, most can jump out the gym and shoot it from 40 ft but can they play within an offense or run an offense and control pace? Can they diagnose and attack different defenses immediately and effectively? Can they identify the opposition's "hot" man and help effectively slow their rhythm or take them outta the game completely at times (depending on position of course)? Muggsy could actually do all of those things and that's why he was as good as he was at that height, it's a reason he was a starter that long on a contender, he played on one of the best high school squads of all time, Muggsy was always legit af and despite his height he was very athletic honestly
