Susanne Morrison I'm from Cape Breton and had the pleasure of meeting these men last summer in Ingonish,Cape Breton. I doubt with the Covid 19 they will make it here this year. They will be missed! My family were staying in a nearby cottage when we discovered their boat tied up to the wharf. My husband and i were invited to sit in the boat which i almost tipped over. Scary moment But the best memory was when my sister in law,Sheila and i were out for a walk,we stopped to say Hello to Breanndan who was sitting at a picnic table at the shore. Eventually all the guys arrived and there were lots of laughs. Sheila was happy to be in that moment, shining her light and had made a subtle mention she had brain cancer. Breanndan will never know how much he lifted her spirits ,especially when he stood up and sang the song 'Sheila.' Our beautiful, loving Sheila died in April past. It takes little time to be kind and share a laugh. Thanks to these great men. Hope they are all doing what they enjoy and staying healthy and safe . Another funny story was when Sheila's husband loaned Sean his shirt. :))

Has this family any relation to the lately-departed Séamus Ó Beaglaoich and his daughter Meabh? I'm somewhat new to the serious study of traditional music but I had the pleasure of meeting Meabh last year in Dingle.
