White erasers are usually plastic and the black is made of something else, but the real difference between the two is that white erasers are pretty abrasive and somewhat ruin paper, but they erase really well and black erasers are much softer on paper and when erasing pencil under ink, the ink wont lift off or fade like with other erasers. Since black erasers are softer, they erase well, but dont dig into the paper so they dont erase deep lines that well(like lines made from scratching or a hard lead pencil). This is only what i can guess based on my experience in general with using black and white erasers. These might be different. Try erasing ink over pencil and see if any ink fades with them. Great video and cute supply haul!
@cassualtea2040
5 жыл бұрын
The only thing is that black erasers have the tendency to smudge once they get old and dirty so the white is still pretty good for erasing details. Just make sure you're using good paper. We usually use the white in technical drafting because it's cleaner, it's only an problem if you're heavy handed really.
@anhhuynhkimnguyen6793
5 жыл бұрын
I use a black one but the difference mainly comes from the firmness of the eraser (in my experience). I prefer firm ones but I also use soft ones to erase pencil under inks as well.

No. Thats wrong. This White and black erasers are both made from PVC. They are both smooth. You are referring to white latex erasers, that are very common in america and europe

With regards to the wide range of price: Muji started as a cheap no-brand store like you mentioned, but their stuff is so good that ironically it became a brand unto itself! They still have a fair amount of cheap goods (thankfully), and their stationary has fantastic reputation. When I was in Japan about 10 years ago I got a dirt cheap plastic eraser from Muji which could erase nigh on anything (and I used to press suuuper hard when I drew back then) and it's still kicking around doing a fantastic job. Best ~100 yen I ever spent tbh.

09 bp 08 American school rank in lower than most nations for being such a global "powerhouse" our school system is fundamentally flawed and we have union strikes given by teachers so often that I don't find it a big deal. We don't pay our teachers enough, schools aren't funded properly, there's no after school resources for help in your studies, by far the average American student is not as classically intelligent as other countries
@KKWolf17

Lucas Galaxy The school systems in my area are amazing, we are taught the Imperial system and the Metric system along side each other from elementary school on. We have student study centers for every subject and offer free one on one tutoring sessions for as long as someone needs, whenever they are available, and in whichever subject they need. Not all schools in America are good but not all of them are bad. It's all handled on a state by state basis, not a country wide basis [Note] I graduated last year and have finished my first year in college, before anyone assumes anything

The smooth stroke and thick opaque, sometimes glittery ink is popular both among students and artists. The barrels are often easy to grip, and the color indicators usually found on the cap and bottom of the pen have a translucent feeling about them. THE bright beautiful grl pens have an aesthetic appeal and are good for writing, doodling, lining and coloring. PEN sketches are also enjoyable with this lovely type of pen

Black ones are so that you can spot the shavings and eraser crumbs. While white erasers blend in with the white paper, and I guess they also show up on black paper?
