That tree is a little ripper. I have a mulberry near my place that I'm eyeing off for some air layers, but wondering on the best time of year for it on a mulberry? Also how did you get started in bonsai, would be great to hear a bit about your bonsai journey and how your learned and got better.

I watched all three of your Mulberry videos yesterday so I could check out the changes to the tree over the years. Sentimental value is really important and it is just a bonus that the tree looks great. Ive been trying to get mulberry cuttings to grow from a tree that my husbands grandmother planted, it would be at least 80 years old.

@@SamDoeckeAussiebonsaibloke Im practising my air layering. Never heard of it till a few months ago tho lol.. Since then Ive got 4 successes from 4 air layers on a crepe myrtle, and am trying some on needle junipers and a pear tree. As soon as I can get access to the Mulberry tree again I will try on it too :-)
