I also must leave a message for your videographer. Whoever they are he or she is doing a tremendous job the best job I have seen while watching these kinds of videos. God bless and stay safe. ✌️🇨🇦

I don't know about anyone else, but I like when you explain what you're doing. It took me a while to catch on with the different blade setup. I hadn't seen that set up before.

In a way yes. I would say you really need to master 2-3 particularly important jobs, along with experience in Monday other areas. If that makes sense

Great vid! I’m not criticizing, but you’re gonna have to talk to us during the video just a tad bit. Not too much, but just a bit. Let us know what a four quarter saw is, if you’re cutting a 2” slab, why you’re rolling to the knees to an avoid cutting the heart wood… etc. Something. We’re guessing what you’re doing at this point. I’m a fan brother so don’t take it wrong! I really enjoy the content!😊.

Tbh it’s done since i was a kid🤦♂️ that plate is made of soft steel. And you can bend it with a hammer but it just goes right back. Maybe that’s a fix we can remedy here soon

@Helmsburgsawmill Ian if you got a bit of waste off cut just place it under the plate just high enough for the belt joint to clear

Son of a gun I’ll do that. I don’t notice as much because I really am focused on a lot of other things. However, I want video quality and that’ll work, at least temporarily!

Ian, thanks for the video! I was wondering if you put your milled lumber in a kiln after sawing them.

My comment on your last video was to add a little bit of humour to your day but my wife always says that my humour is very dry and no one gets the point. You’re doing an amazing job and I just thought I would let you know I really enjoy watching your videos. Stay safe God bless. ✌️🇨🇦
