I love Sofie's music. She really got me through lockdown. Because of her personal experience she has been an advocate for the #me too movement but I think that she should be get behind the #me too even if Ur a Jew movement because of the lack of support from European feminist groups.

She's been making lovely dance tracks for decades still going strong, even more lovely, and loved her family covid lockdown sets. The movie isn't that big of a deal or outrageous. Her song to me is far better than the movie and will outlive saltburn easily.

I love her music. I feel like she deserves the same type of success that Kylie Minogue has. I like Kylie, but her music is very bland to me and lacks interest, and Sophie's music is sort of in the same vein but her voice and lyrics are a lot more engaging. I don't understand why her albums didn't take off around the world. Someone suggested to me that it's because unlike many popular British singers, her English accent comes through clearly when she sings. I can't really imagine why that would be a deal breaker for anyone, but who knows.
