Udio has the best vocal and instrumental quality at the moment. Additionally, their website offers the best tools and a high level of control for producing your own music. However, personally, I much prefer the melodies and musical structure of Suno. The compositions are much more captivating and creative. Despite its limitations, Suno has more feeling and emotion in its generated music. I've created songs with it that are phenomenal-the melodic level of SunoAI is truly impressive, no exaggeration.

Three things I want really badly: 1. upload a crap demo of a whole finished song, full band or guitar vocal, and it outputs a polished full master recording of same song. Tell it to add elements guitar solo, vocoder, harmony, etc. 2. put in a finished song in one genre, and have it output the same song in another genre 3. upload a full finished song I made, and have it output a way better mix/master without changing the elements of it.

I recently used Suno to create vocal tracks for about 8 different songs for a demo that I started 15 years ago. I’m extremely happy with the melodies(I wrote 99% of my own lyrics, and extracted the vocals to place into my original music tracks), and I love the voices and vocal style and almost everything about it… except for the quality. It’s not even the autotune most of the time, but all of the extra modulation type of effects and just a lot of extra noise when I extract the vocals from the track outputted from Suno. So essentially, the next step for me is to use these demos to have a real vocalists professionally record all of it. Unless of course, the technology improves in a way that will allow me to simply upgrade the quality without sacrificing everything else that is good about the versions generated by Suno. I constantly have my eyes open now for whatever might come along to make this possible for me, but I’m skeptical and I don’t see it here. As an independent solo artist I would love to see this stuff improved to the level where I can get results that are good for more than just a demo, but we’re not quite there yet.

I agree. Suno has to work on their audio quality. Although I love the melodies and how it creates bangers almost every time, I'd love them to remove the hissing audio and random demon choir hallucinations. And mureka has better audio quality but it's missing the magic of melodies/structure, if I put that into words. Lyrics generator is great. Nothing about neon lights and cliche stuff. But mureka has to work on improving their model and also provide support to more languages.

How did you make suno generate vocals for the songs you already have, I mean Harmony and bpm, or maybe even Melody?
@micah_noel
17 күн бұрын
@@paveldudko9783 It matches the BPM and the key of the uploaded audio. I often upload at least two different sections for each song. I’ll give it major part of the intro and have the “extend from” right before the first verse. Often it will get the rhythm or cadence of the vocal pretty close within a couple of tries. Often the melody and voice will take me a couple of dozen tries. It’ll give me a bunch that don’t sound like my original song so I pretty much delete them right away because I have no use for outputs that don’t sound like the original song. But once I find one that I like I can take an audio sample of that and keep prompting it to sing the rest of the verses. Sometimes I will only have a few lines or a chorus when I start but the whole process inspires me to continue writing the lyrics and finishing the song after I’ve already generated a few ideas. My genre and writing style is pretty generic and formulaic, which makes it easy I guess. I would use a song like Nemo by Nightwish as an example. The AI just has a very good understanding of how this music is supposed to sound. If I took the music and the lyrics from that song I would imagine I could get an output that is pretty close after a couple dozen tries. If The song begins with an instrumental version of the chorus then it’s more likely that it will generate a vocal melody that is somewhat similar and will probably fit when I mix it with my music. Sometimes the voice and melody is great but the timing is way off so I have to splice it in between every line so that it matches up well, but this is worth it because the end result sounds like a completed song.

Many people like to talk about why one Ai music generator is better than the other. As a person that has been creating music for decades I feel that Udio has the best vocal quality so far. As for what the songs sound like with any Ai music generator, it comes down to the person using the application. What the user knows about working with the application and their overall understanding of how to create music, directly affects the end result. What sounds best is completely subjective and based on a persons preferences. I personally don't like it when the generated voice sounds robotic or atonal, it's a dead giveaway that the song was created with Ai and that ruins it for me. Not every ear that is judging is listening for the same things.

Yes absolutely. I agree. The AI is as good as the person using it. Udio's vocals are amazing. Mureka has good vocals compared to Suno but it entirely depends on the reference input you give it. Thoughts: 1. I do believe I know the guy who developed this. Cool people. 2. Model hallucinates like CRAZY at even the slightest bit of twisty flow. 3. Sound quality is poorer than suno 4. Generated lyrics... mostly better than suno or udio. The llm has a fascination with drinking and smoking though. 5. Credits are way too expensive to justify the quality of the outputs. You'll still have to put these through udio to clean them up, and you can save money by just using suno, which'll give you a more flexible lyrics parser and a more robust verse calculator. If it was a lot cheaper, I would use it.

I need to say it: I expect that I can say: do a funky bassline in c minor 90 bpm; after generating this I would ask: add drums, add chords and then eventually voice and then part II make a variation of the bass… etc and eventually have the different stems to elaborate in a daw, if possible into the interface itself or to integrate AI in fl studio, just to make another idea of how it could be done; then I would be interested in making something Manageable. The only thing I like better than suno is the stems. I'd also like Suno to be able to use an uploaded audio as a style guide instead of just a thing to expand on. What would be cool too would be to be able to regenerate a song with new lyrics. Sometimes you have nice lyrics, you find the perfect melody among what the AI generated, but a few days later you realize some of the lyrics need to be changed for different reasons, you can't redo the exact same melody and style with the new lyrics on SUNO, only way is to remake the instrumental in a DAW and record yourself over them.

Problem with all AI music generator sites: none offer real musical control over the generated content, it is generaly just ”write random prompt and se what happens”. Some might accept BPM and input of key, but nothing more… so I want my song to change measures going from 18/16 part to 7/8 and change BPM from 100 down to 60 and then back to 100, add modulation and change key from A minor to Something else, oh and in the middle part of the song i want a symphonic orchestra and a rap in a new style i call psycadelic rap with typical industrial influences. the quality is excellent there is no doubt, it is much better than suno but Suno is still better in everything else, Suno makes the songs with your voice and your voice sounds exactly similar regardless of the lyrics that are placed in the structure, it is simpler when placing the genres without limits and the type of genre that we want just by writing it and it gives us what we ask for in general, I do not think that at the moment there is a better one than Suno, I think that there are many imitators of Suno but they lack a lot to equal it or improve it, Mureka without telling lies is above in quality of music but it does not have anything else to offer that surpasses Suno, and that Suno has excellent quality, better prices, more credits allows us to have monthly payments and gives us the commercial permissions of the copyright of the songs, in short Suno is the best above all and it is more comfortable and simpler to use.

That copyright certificate they give you is a gimmick. It's a useless feature. It basically says that they claim no ownership of the content you create--which is the same at Udio, where it's stated in the TOS. That's all that's needed, really--a certificate doesn't do squat. And that's because no private company has the authority to issue anyone copyrights to anything. Also, I'd be incredibly surprised to find out that their little user market is active even to a small degree. Why would a user purchase a license to use another user's output, when they could just generate it themselves? Keep in mind too that if you sell some user that big ticket exclusive license, you cannot use that content for anything of your own--because you sold it to them. If someone wants to buy that license from you for $30, when they could just as easily generate something similar, you might be better off holding on to it. If you happen to generate something that's actually marketable, 30 bucks is not enough for an exclusive license. Don't sell yourself short..

Mureka doesn't have an Instrumental button like Suno and Udio. However, in the lyrics section you can use the tag [instrumental] The lyrics section needs at least 50 characters of lyrics. So you gotta use the word [instrumental] like 5 times.

I use udio and Suno, and really Suno sucks by comparison in a lot of genres, specially cause of the voices, but its ok for some other, including the voices, overall Suno is for simpler generations where the user doesnt wanna get involved and just choose between whole songs, udio is more crafting by pieces, I often do comparisons and udio is more expresive and convincing, Suno suffers from the "suno sound" in most of it generations, so for me Suno is the toy and udio is more for almost finished but its does have a learning curve

I'm trying it... but seems there is no support (or very very poor) for any song with a language other than english. So, no french, italian, no korean for kpop... while both Suno and Udio where great on this since the debut. Dont know what to think: the song producted sound good and very promisling (voices are great like in Udio, and instrument are much clear than Udio, for example), but the idea of generating only some kind of songs having a fix "menu" for style and mood instead a prompt, is a big NO for me... hope they are just starting and rapidily improving...

These tools are so random & volatile & presume that potential users have unlimited enthusiasm to pay to be another beta tester. . You neglected to mention or demonstrate. . If you can you use the same vocalist on another genre or additional songs with consistency. . Edits & fading of audio. . Stems are processed & extracted & not genuine. is the lossless audio file genuine ? as it will consume more storage space. It will be misleading advertising & a waste of money to download a converted lossy file . Does the tool consistently reference production styles & trends throughout the decades? . Is there any credit , clarity or references to the vocalist which are accessed? . Copyright safeguards & protection vary across countries & audio uploads will obviously infringe . Certification is meaningless without confirmation that you are the owner author etc of the uploaded audio.
@AIAutomationLabs
21 күн бұрын
Getting a consistent voice is possible if you give the same singer's voice as reference input. None of the AI music generators like Suno, Udio or Mureka provide true stems at the moment. It's basically using a Stem splitter which you can do in any splitter App or DAW. The WAV file is a lossless file indeed. But I think they should allow at least 1 free download without subscription so that people can try it themselves. Regarding consistent reference styles, it again depends on your reference input. That's all the context the model has to continue on. There is no set of defined vocalists in the model. It will sound like the reference vocals you give it. Copyrighting AI content is a debatable topic at the moment and Suno & Udio are being sued by RIAA for allegedly training their models on copyrighted content. We've seen that in the case of copyrighting AI images, if there's a sufficient amount of human involvement in the production of the image, it qualifies for copyright protection. Similarly, if you have your own lyrics and post edit your song in DAW, you should be able to copyright your music/song. Pro plans for Suno, Udio and Mureka give you commercial rights to publish and distribute your songs.
@element64
21 күн бұрын
@@AIAutomationLabs Hi. I'm curious how you confirmed that the lossless file is genuine & not a up scaled conversion. . The model would most likely have to be trained on hi fidelity audio.which raises more questions about the origins. Do a search for " Tech giants are normalising unethical behaviour with ai voice cloning tools" For evidence & examples why Suno & Udio were destined to be sued. . More generative tools & a lack of transparency credit & engagement with the wider industry means more controversy & polarisation. . Some platforms may scan the unique fingerprints of the services & restrict or refuse uploads. You should consider posting on Reddit as the Mureka forum is desolate.

Suno is absolute crap. Every song is constructed using the same production techniques, and the quality has absolutely no dynamic range. The female singers all have virtually the same energy, intonation, and cadence choices. The service itself is run by a small group of college kids who have no idea how to even make a professional looking website. Oh, and stop dreaming of V4 people. It's been talked about for over 6 months now, it takes a ton of time and money to train a new model, its not happening with the lawsuit looming.
