A new video!!!! Love it!! I love the bright yellow color.. I just got done making the mermaid tears and mermaid wish... I just added some white and sky blue pearls to the mermaid wish potion as well as white and light blue glitter - they turned out beautiful!! Now I need to decorate them 🤗🤗🤗 P.S. The Silica Beads are a pain in the butt to find!! I ended up taking some Silica beads from my fiance's medicine bottles but for anyone having a hard time finding them they sell them on the "Wish" app.

Thanks for all your great, fun tutorials! Do you think using vodka would work instead of rubbing alcohol? In our post-covid world that isn't too easy to find!
@CookingandCraftChick

MisterKnitter it should, you can also use distilled water and some glycerin instead of alcohol. I show this technique with Potion for Dreamless Sleep. 😊💜

This looks awesome! I'm curious as to whether or not the paint and the alcohol separate over time. I have some mica powder I could use but I love the acid yellow color this paint gives.
@CookingandCraftChick

They do not separate. Only the mica in the paint separates until you re-shake it up. I hope that helps 😊

I always wonder where you get your ideas from how to make a potion or ingredient. It's fantastic. I love the tentacles! They're amazing. Maybe I will start next year my own potion-ingredient-tutorial. Inspired by you. :D Great work. Thank you for sharing!

I remember you made a comment in your gillywig video that it was more like a gel like substance then the foliage idea you were using. You could use the fishing worm idea for an improved look to your gillywig video.

I made this as well. I did make mine out of hot glue. I’ve recently made a whomping willow. When I get done, I will be posting to my channel. Thanks again for the inspiration!

For the tentacles I think that using latex work as well. You can get it in a Halloween store, this is more pricey that hotglue, but more realistic

Sarah Walther something fancy, 😉 you can buy sealing wax for a glue gun. But colored glue sticks work really well too.
