I'm with you in thinking we may be turning a corner with new museum policies. I think the Smithsonian returning Benin Bronzes is huge. Changing big institution's policies and practices is like turning a battleship (I'm looking at you, British Museum) Thank you for all your videos and I wish you and yours a happy 2023.

Yes, it is certainly not an easy or quick process, but good things are happening!

Great recap! I agree with you on the British Museum repatriating any of the contested artifacts such as the Parthenon marbles or the Rosetta Stone, it’s not going to happen.

Hi, I love your videos! Watch all of them. Do you by any chance have recommendations for other youtubers creating museum/history/cultural heritage content which you find to be well researched? Thank you'! ♥

Hey, thanks very much for your nice comment! I am still on the hunt for other people talking about museums, but I have been fruitless in these attempts. There are plenty of great history KZitemrs out there though! Some of my favourites to watch are: NotYourMommasHistory, KazRowe, Tasting History, Xiran Jay Zhao, and the Welsh Viking.

@@professorpeachez not the independent country Benin, which borders To go and was previously called Dahomey?
