MUSIC EVERYWHERE (chemo edition)
When you receive medication via an IV drip, there is a machine to regulate the flow that beeps very loudly when there’s a problem or when the infusion is complete.
I was continually receiving lots of meds during my three weeks in the hospital, so I heard a LOT of beeping and it came to be a bit traumatizing.
Until I realized what song the machine was singing!
Spoiler, it’s T-Rex’s “Bang a Gong,” a 1971 glam rock anthem that is often covered. This video also features versions by Power Station and Blondie, while I and my IV drip regulator try to keep up!
If you would like to contribute to my medical expenses and ongoing recovery, please donate through the GoFundMe campaign that has been created on my behalf: gofund.me/45bf...
