My son just had that Tim Henson guitar delivered today and was playing it all day. It sound incredible both with and without an amp. We bought it more because he didn’t have a classical guitar and prefers smaller bodies. It’s a great guitar.

Watch Tim's live playthrough of this song. If you think you appreciate his skill now, wait till you see a single take rip through playing both his and Scotty's parts.

At this point you've probably "heard of" the artist named Ren. You should check him out.. some songs in particular. "The Full Tale of Jenny & Screech" is a 3 part story that feels like a modern-day-bard-tragedy played in a continuous take with live audio. Really impressive and unique.. amazing. And the song "Hi-Ren" is popping off as well; much deeper and it will make you reflect and it hits to the core. Don't judge a book by it's cover.. just dive in blind. You can thank me later ;)

Nice man! If you're interested one of the guitarists has a video on how he made the song, it's a really interesting look at how the song was produced, nice reaction bro🤌

gonna disagree a bit. it does really closely follow certain dance music structure. namely various psytrance but with the space of funk and intelligent drum n bass, with some dubstep thrown in, but yes is totally its own thing and amazing

Polyphia is from Plano Texas, or Dallas area. Even though I live in Dallas, it was Babymetal’s collaboration with Polyphia on Brand New Day that introduced me to the band. Koiai (formerly Li-SA-X band) has a cover of them. Both Hazuki and Haraguchi-San from Nemophila have mentioned incorporating Polyphia’s sound on a couple of tracks. I guess that makes sense since Hazuki is the support guitarist for Koiai. All of the videos I’ve watched of this band are in this basic style.

Polyphia is its own genre of music pretty much lol. I guess closest for me would be progressive rock if you had to throw them into one. Each of these guys are some of the top players of their respective instruments out there right now. They are primarily instrumental but they do vocal features on a few songs (especially on their latest album). Band members are Tim Henson- Guitar (tattoos), Scott LePage- Guitar, Clay Gober- Bass and Clay Aeschliman- Drums. They've been active for about a decade. If you'd like to check out more of their stuff I suggest Ego Death (ft. Steve Vai), Chimera, 40oz, Goose, Yas and basic listening requirement is G.O.A.T.
