Well, you just made a fan outa me, shoutin out my instruments: percussion, especially mallets, which includes glockenspiel (bells), vibes, marimba, chimes, timps, etc. I’d say the Glock goes back even to the 60’s. When I think of Smokey Robinson & the Miracles’ Tears of a Clown, I can hear the Glock part in my head playing the little instrumental hook to the chorus hook of the tune. Here I believe the glock line is doubled with guitar. You might be the only reactor out of the tons I’ve watched who picked up on that. Love it! And these cats utilize percussion big time on this project. People makin jokes about tambourine, but they have it rockin on many a track. And check out Put on a Smile, which I believe uses a type of ganza (Brazilian or African shaker) that is actually called a rain stick, to get the sound of the rain. It has beads or pellets inside, & surfaces every few inches, with holes in the middle, so the beads stagger through & sound like rain. Also, I think they use African talkin drum called dun dun or tama, depending on its size. It’s the sound of a drum changing pitch which you hear when they harmonize on the word, ‘you, you, you…’. Anyway, excellent reaction. You must be a musician. Very cool! 👍🏽🎶

Wow thank you for this awesome comment! I really appreciate you for the positivity. Also Smokey Robinson is the champ! I grew up listening to his music because of my parents so a lot of instrumentation from that time is familiar to me. I listen in layers when I listen to music (unintentionally). I will definitely check out the artist you recommended btw! I love a good tune and you seem to know a bit about music yourself so I assume you’re a musician as well. That’s so cool man. I appreciate the good vibes and good talk! 🙏🏾

Koji, hey sis! First I wanna give you props for an awesome channel and some really dope breakdowns. I love music and I can really feel your love for music when you do your videos. Next, this track is an absolute beast! I’ve always been a huge Bruno fan, but I feel that his last few solo projects had become somewhat stale. I think he was feeling it too, hence his search for other projects. On the other hand, I didn’t know much about Pak prior to Sonic’s first song. But these 2 have done wonders for each other’s musical journey. They’re a force! And this track is damn near perfect! Who knows where these boys will take it next but I can’t wait. Keep the vids coming Koji! Peace.

Hey Joey! While I appreciate your kindness in watching this video, I’m being honest. I am being the best example for this generation by being my authentic self because we live in a world that constantly ridicules people for how they choose to live their life. I’m not hurting anyone and also I’ve practiced living a vegan lifestyle for the past 4 years so I’d like to think I’m somewhat health conscious. My music background is that I’ve been producing since the age of 13; now being a late 20 something. I’ve worked with independent artists ranging from Los Angeles to Switzerland, competed in a few beat battles judged by some of the industry’s hottest producers, won some independent awards for my productions on a neo soul/jazz record as well as some singles that I’ve produced. Currently working on an EP that will feature 5 dope artists of my choice. I intend on it being the best project I’ve released to date. Hopefully that tells you a bit about me. And though we may not share the same views on certain things I do appreciate you for tuning in to my channel! ☺️👌🏾✨
