You guys reaction to Faouzia´s songs is EPIC and professional with the way you analyze her singing notes. It would be so nice if you could react to more of her songs like Fur Elise, Tears Of Gold, and Minefields(the collaboration she did with John Legend), would love to see your reactions to these songs, even though she does have many awesome ones too. Keep up the good work! Just subscribed by the way from Mexico City, Mexico...

there is a relatin between moroccan music and some latin music, not latin and arabian music, our rythms in Morocco are so different than the ones in arab world, North african peolpe are mostly (Amazigh, ...Berbères people), we are not arabs, but we talk arab😊😊😊😊, thank you

Thanks for the information. Wikipedia says 'Arabs comprise 67% of the population of Morocco'. Does that mean they mainly live in other Moroccan regions than the north, maybe those less influenced by Spain or France?
@MoB660

@@siomonn_musique actually the roots of morocco are amazigh, this region was conquered by arabs long time ago so the changement started long time ago, but in each arab country the language is different , so the arab moroccan speak language is called "darija" which is a comibanation of all influences (amazigh, arab, french,spanich ) so you will have a word that doesn't exist in arabic language but similar to a word in french, morocco was colonized by france and spain that can explain why you have all these influences. the range of sounds in moroccan darija is very large that's why moroccans usually can adapt to other languages and can mask accent with practice

Hi, that's not true according to historians they show that there were only some minority of Arab tribes that settled in Morocco, they were merged with the Moors, and that most Moroccans who spoke not Berber but Arabic Moroccan dialect, were almost all surprised after genetic tests DNA test that they had nothing to do with the other Arabs of the East, we have a culture and civilization much older than that of the Middle East and Gulf countries, we have nothing in common except religion and Arabization that Moroccans needed to understand Islam. in fact scientists discovered the oldest man in the world in Morocco, homo sapien who dated more than 315,000 years, for the moment we are considered the mother of humanity. @@siomonn_musique

@@pinocchiotarator4590 So during the time when Morocco was conquered by the Arabs (for example, the 6th century to 985 before Idrisid Dynasty was over thrown), the Arabs didn't settle in large numbers and so there was not as much as racial merge as people think?

Here's how "Arab" music wound up in the "Latin" countries. In 711 CE, the Moors (this is what Europeans called the Muslim people of North Africa) invaded what we now call "Spain" and "Portugal". Back then, it was just "Iberia". In just 7 years, the Moors conquered the whole of the Iberian Peninsula. They then ruled all or parts of it for the next 781 years! The last of them were finally kicked out in 1492 CE, the same year that Christopher Columbus "discovered" the New World for the Crown of Spain. Those 781 years of Moorish rule gave the people of Iberia a culture profoundly influenced by Moorish, Arabic, and Muslim thought, art, and music. You can see similar, but not as strong, influences in Sicily and southern Italy and, of course, in Malta. This long history and these influences forever after set the peoples of Iberia somewhat apart from all the other peoples of Europe, and that is reflected especially in their music, down to this day. And everywhere the Spanish and Portuguese went, they took their "Arab" music with them. Faouzia is of Moroccan descent. So, she, too, has inherited all of this amazing musical tradition as well as that of the more northern European countries and also of the sub-Saharan people who were taken to the New World as slaves. It's one heck of a combination. No? Yes.

I like the analysis, especially the Japanese guy to the right of the screen.💜 Shakira's singing Yo-Lea Yo-Lea is Arabic style of singing. did you know, Shakira's dad is Arabic? it's easy for Arabic singer to sing that, and it's very easy for Faouzia Spain & Morocco have been at it since 146 BC. some words in Spanish are actually in Arabic, such as shirt, Trousers, etc... because of long occupation of Northern Morocco by Spain and France there are many influences especially in music, dancing, and language... Faouzia used Arabic Percussion at 0:47 and 2:03.

Long occupation of Morocco by Spain and France? "Long"....... Morocco´s style is completely different from Spain and France. Hence Andalusia getting it´s influence from Morocco.

Long as in over 100s of years. Spain occupied northern part of Morocco for a very long time. and French occupied a different part. in later years France was active at wars with Morocco. Today, Moroccan style is unique and completely different from any countries, not just Spain or France. you're referencing the beginning of Islamic move. I am referencing post 1500AD. Moroccan Arabic is mixed with Berber and French where majority of Arabic speaking countries have hard time understanding it. go search it up

All that you have written is incorrect, Moorish sultans as in the Moroccan sultanate ruled in Spain for over 800 years. Moroccan Dairja(as in Arabic) is completely unique in nature and Moroccans despise the French language... Morocco´s style is completely unique then and now. Hence the Andalusian influence came from the Moorish empire and Moroccan culture.@@LionsFit

Moroccan did occupied Spain for 800 years. Spain gain power and return the favor to Morocco by conquered most of Northern Morocco aroun1500 AD. Even as early as 1900 Spain colonized the southern desert called “the river of gold” then Western Sahara Desert. It was taken back in 1980. Spanish people still reside Today in 2 small cities in northern Morocco. These 2 cities are considered European. @nazlitechschool
