Larry, a recommendation for how improve your wash bucket system. Since the labels are so close together in design, color and tone, I would recommend that you redesign them to look like what they are meant to be for. For example, the WASH BUCKET could have the same logo, but the exterior of the red logo be shaped like a wash bucket. For the RINSE BUCKET, have the logo in the shape of a rinse nozzle, and for the WHEEL BUCKET in the shape of the wheels. I really like the central figure on the logo, and the fonts are great, but if you change the outer shape it will make their purposes more apparent, obvious and decrease the likelihood of accidental cross contamination. Cheers.

Larry what's your opinion of pressure washer vs. garden hose? I prefer the pressure washer (electric, only 1600psi with a 40deg nozzle from 3 feet away). Solely because I noticed my water usage dropped to maybe 5 gallons for a whole wash vs 20-30 for a hose wash.
@Patrick94GSR
7 жыл бұрын
If you want to use a foam gun, a pressure washer is far more effective. I've seen videos of foam guns that attach to the hose, and the foam they produce just looks straight up wimpy compared to that of an actual power washer with foam gun/cannon.
@ThePatrickBateman69
6 жыл бұрын
Patrick94GSR The suds are the same but the problem is you have to use 2-3x the soap concentration in a foam bucket vs a foam cannon. There’s pros and cons to both. For example, the foam bucket is detachable( quick attach through the garden hose),meaning if you’re not big into setting up and cleaning down, that would likely be better, just expect to use a lot more soap. Overall, it just comes down to preference and the application. Some days i’ll prefer to use one over the other for random reasons. Good analysis

I'm not saying to following their lineup of products (but they are good lol, love the Fast Correcting Cream), this chart just gives u a great 'birds eye view' of paint correction Chart: vidweb.aws.marketlive.com/griotsgarage_vid/text/pdf/bosswallchart.pdf There are other things that have to come into consideration like soft paint or hard paint, but get an idea first

Question; my grit guards don't sit directly in the bottom of my buckets but as you push them down in the buckets the narrowness towards the bottom catches the grit gaurd creating a tight seal but leaving about 2 inches or so of space in between the bottom of the bucket and the grit gaurd. Is that Okay? Or do the grit guards need to sit directly on the bottom of the bucket?
@someoneelse7724
7 жыл бұрын
Ideally you would want them to sit at the bottom, the fins on the grit guard are there to keep the water at the bottom from swirling around and the grit coming back up. Grab a bucket from Home Depot or Lowe’s they fit those perfectly.

Duston Dolamore I bought 2 different brands and absolutely loved them. UNTIL....4 or 5 cars later and BOTH burst open on me in the middle of washing. The ones I bought however, are the ones "AS SEEN ON TV". I am now going to try another collapsible hose, but a much stronger one from Lowe's or Home Depot. (Not cheapo) I love the fact that I don't have much room in my vehicle, and these type hoses accommodate for that very much. Hope this helps just a little. Don't buy cheap ones if you do.
