Yes, thank you for all of the information. I had watched the previous video where you showed the Rainy River landings. That is nice to have. I looked online and there is not anything easily found that lists all of those ramps and as clear as what you included in that video. Again, thank you.

@@tjsguideservice Yes sir. I appreciate it. There's still close to 24" of ice on Lake Of The Woods in most areas; I follow a guy here on YT who posts regularly. He's going to keep ice fishing. I believe he fishes mainly in the Long Point area. He's had one of his best ice fishing seasons, this season. It started slow but once it froze over, it kept making ice. He posted one today and he said that he was on 22" of ice. I don't know exactly where he was but I do know that he fishes mainly on the south end of the lake. There were some guys fishing Rainy River already; that was a week or so ago. They were putting in at Birchdale. They had intended to put in at Frontier but it was frozen out in front of the ramp. There was a backhoe at Frontier trying to break open the ramp area. TJ, keep 'em comin' when you have time and when you're in the mood to film.

3/8 would be the top end of what I would use it for. It’s rated for 1/8-3/8oz. I would maybe bump up to a medium action if you’re using those consistently

In the summer on the Ottawa river when the bite is slow I’ve had amazing luck going into the current over deeper fish with a slow death hook 4’ lead and a bottom boucer

Jig and a minnow is hard to beat this time of year. Working on some scent experiments for my eye candy at the moment. Maybe toss in some dropshot rigs at the fishing hole on the river this spring for Walleye too

@@tjsguideserviceI've been trying to make my own minnow scent by preserving them in mineral oil instead of salt. I'm hoping the mineral oil doesn't break down the eye candy or elaztech plastics. Will let you know how it goes

It’s crazy how universal purple can be. I was just on the Columbia and they said the same thing! Rainy is similar and Green Bay purple is good too!
