Puerto Escondido is already gentrified and much of the natural fauna is disintegrating. Most of the people in La Punta are foreigners who only come to live a nice and cheap life based on their privileges. Most of the businesses are not local, which has a great impact on the local economy. You have to be more aware when inviting other people to visit Puerto since it is being destroyed!

that's true but unfortunately Mexico needs tourism. US companies have taken over and pay like crap so Mexico has no choice but to rely on tourism. Mexico needs to work on their own industry but that will be hard to do having US as a neighbor. These guys have only been here a couple of months it's not like they have been here for years so cut them some slack.

@@tfi1213 It is obvious that a large part of the countries need tourism, I only ask respect for the natural reserves of my country and for the people who are originally from Oaxaca since due to gentrification many people have been stripped of their origins to satisfy the needs of outsiders.

with all my respect you guys do not show any interest in Mexico as a culture or about its people ..you are mostly living here because is cheap , and because you like the beaches ..but you dont interact at all with mexicans or talk about the mexicans traditions...or do you think that surfing is part of the mexican culture ..?most of the peole you interact with are foreigners..sadlly is like for some people Mexico would be better without mexicans

Ooof your comment definitely grabbed our attention if that was the goal? We speak about surf because Puerto Escondidio is very unique in the world with its waves here. not at all thinking that surfing is part of the Mexican culture. We love Mexico and Mexican people and we are very happy and lucky to have some good Mexican friends, whom you havent met in our videos yet. We are currenlty learning spanish so we can interract more. But learning a new language unfortunately is not as easy as it seems. We dont live in Puerto, we travel slow so we can really experience the great diversity that Mexico has to offer
