As a white woman, I can guarantee that our priveleges have been chipped away little by little ever since the 70s because it was a backlash against the feminist movement. They (men, esp. white men, of course, can’t stand to see women, including white women, getting any kind of increase in power, or any kind of perceived freedom, and they will do everything in their power to clip our wings. (And, yes, I do acknowledge that white women do have privilege, to some degree, over black women, and to a lesser extent, over black men). Men, in general, will always want power over women. That’s been going on for centuries. BTW, I am 100% on board with Kamala Harris. Also, here’s a tasty and amazing tidbit: Mexico (yes, Mexico!) just elected their first woman President! She will take the office in October. And I think she’s Jewish. Can you imagine a woman President in BOTH Mexico AND the U.S.?? Progress is being made!

10 examples of things Trump improved while in office... 1. Border security with his 'Remain In Mexico' and other policies 2. Economy and higher employment rates, plus his 'Opportunity Zones' which invested $75 billion in minority communities 3. World peace with his Abraham Accords peace treaty for the middle east 4. Trade deals by forcing China, Mexico and other countries to pay their fare share 5. Gas prices by drilling in America, which Biden stopped leading to higher gas prices 6. Prison Reform with his First Step Act that freed thousands who had unfair sentences due to Biden's '94 Crime Bill 7. Foreign relations with no wars because N. Korea, Russia and other nations respected Trump's strength 8. Trump reduced the risks of terrorist attacks by defeating ISIS and cutting off aid to Iran so they couldn't fund terrorism 9. Trump improved the military by expanding the scope of national security with Space Force + better weapons 10. Trump reduced pregnancy mortality rates by investing $50 million to research the cause and solution to higher death rates among black and minority women during child birth Now give me 10 things Biden and Kamala improved, I'll wait...

I love that Sandy listened in to the White Women Call to Action. I’m literally STILL trying to figure out the underlying issues that drive my fellow white women to consistently vote red in nearly every election. Not only that but WW turned out slightly MORE for Trump in 2020 vs 2016! Either way less than half in both elections voted blue… and as a 43 yr old white woman myself (in Dallas Texas) who has voted straight ticket blue in every single election it’s been a challenge for ME to understand so thank you Sandy for listening in and you have no reason to feel guilty… ESPECIALLY when black women/WOC that consistently show up for democracy. I see you and will continue to show up with you and I just wanted to say to anyone reading how much I appreciate you! Trump gets a lot of support from black men (and not just young men) because of one major issue. He talks of stopping the flow of migrants coming into the country in mass numbers. Taking jobs from blacks. Taking communities away from blacks killing blacks and practicing more nepotism than even the whites. Not only that but the democrats for the last 35 to 40 years have turned their backs on the black community in favor of Latino immigrants. So many are just tired of seeing this trend and have had enough.

Last Trump term ended my marriage. My now ex husband is from England. Well, he started all that Trump talk and I really couldn’t believe it. I had no access to anything.(he kept all the money to himself) I was stuck in the house with him all through 2020. I watched the man he voted for try to destroy our country from the inside out. I was enraged that he refused to see what he was doing. I’m in Tennessee where almost everyone I met was a Trumper. I thought I must be going crazy. I left in January of 21. I wasn’t smart about it though. I left him the house, everything. I just wanted out. And it wasn’t “politics” that destroyed my marriage. There is no way I could be with someone who supported cruelty. Trump showed me who my husband really was.

It’s more complex than just race. White people, in general, have some of the highest rates of marriage in this country. In that marriage, the white man is usually the financial breadwinner. Keep in mind, most white women work outside of the home, but their income is usually less than their white husband’s income. White women have been raised their whole life to believe in the system of patriarchy, and being submissive to their husbands. With the husbands being the breadwinner, and their family structure based around submission and patriarchy, it’s basically whatever the husband says go.
