Took the Mustang for a shakedown run at the Charlotte Motor Speedway to see how the new engine and suspension handles. I set a PB there of a 1:42.23, but my talent (or lack thereof) could've easily shave another ~1.5 seconds of. I think a high 1:40.9 was possible.
One issue that I have finally been able to diagnose is the rear axle end play. When the clutches in the LSD wear the axles are allowed to move more freely, in my case about 3/16th an inch on LR and RR *each*. This was causing a huge instability on braking/turn-in. Every single corner (including the banking) I was fighting oversteer on entry.
Once I get that remedied, I'll take it back out and eval again. Sorry for the relatively boring video, the audio is quite poor and there is no real narration. Hope you enjoy regardless.
