It's very impressive how much did you grow dude! I used to watch the channel when you are living in your parents house and leaning how to code by yourself, i'm learning iOS development (first programming experience), i'm just 3 years younger than you you inspire me a lot, I'm from Brazil and live with my parents, I hope live abroad soon, probably Canada, Thank you for the great work! ✌✌👏

Your videos are aging like fine wine - watching your dev evolution has motivated me to continue the DEV learning - certificate python developer willing to deepen the learning into javascript and react. More and more into Nvim as LSP I wonder if it will be better to switch to mac os and Macbook. Now I am coding under windows using WSL and a gaming laptop using an external 165 Hz 32 Dell monitor. You are a true inspiration and motivator to learn more and more...btw I am 42 and will be migrating to Toronto this year from Europe with 2 kids, 2 cats, a wifey and an elder mom. Keep up the amazing work!

I have a similar setup but I use a MBP, Windows laptop, and Windows desktop. Same monitor but I also have a 34" LG monitor above it. The monitor is 100% worth it for me especially when my kid wants to play Pokemon we just PIP both Switch's and use the top monitor to remember Pokemon types. I use a CalDigit dock with a 7 port usb hub attached to it. Desktop uses usb-c to the dock and the dock uses DP to connect to both monitors. I can change the usb-c cable from desktop to Windows laptop and everything moves over in seconds. I use the usb-c from the monitor to the MBP for 5k resolution and I can PIP Windows and Mac side by side when I have to for whatever reason.

Amazon basics premium lift engine monitor mounts are also ergotron mounts ,it was on the instructions and the box only difference the have a little square on them that says Amazon basics and if you want to make it even more budget friendly go for open box I saved another £20 and their was no issues with either of my two mounts 😊

Nice setup and vid!! I'm rebuilding my home setup after my 12 yo laptop finally died and have been using my 12.9'' iPad Pro (3rd gen) for some time. I just took del'y on a new M2 Mac Mini. I'll build around that. i My needs are basic for everyday use, as I don't do production work on your scale. I'm in a small condo, and am crunched for space. I plan on expanding my desk real estate by installing a chunk of 6' long butcher block. It'll only be 25'' deep, but space constraints dictate this. Standard desk size is 30'' deep. Keep this in mind when you go to HD or Lowe's looking for countertop. You might be better off searching office supply stores for a damaged desk that you can salvage the top from. After all, you have a motorized base. You just need a slab.

Beautiful setup! I went for the IKEA 74" KARLBY countertop in Walnut and am SO happy with it (if you use the Stockaryd oil with it use it very lightly and wipe off all excess after). But I wish I had actually gone with the 96" one now that I have it!!! Highly recommend, super sturdy! But can definitely relate with curating over years, finally unboxed all my office stuff I'd been waiting to do and now looking for setup inspo!! Thank you!!

there are 38 inch 16:10 inch monitors out there, you should highly check those out. Dont go multiple displays with a mac btw. You can also look at qd oled monitors which are 34 inches wide, wqhd, bigger than a single display but still not as much screen realestate as a 49/dual 27.

It'll save you lots of money by not buying a moving standing desk, either electric or mechanical. What you'd do is to buy a stationary tall desk and a tall chair. That way you can stand when you want to and sit when you want to, just like a moving desk. However, it is much cheaper and without the moving mechanisms which eventually will break down.

Hi Chau, Im having trouble getting my 3440x1440 to look sharp on my macbook. Ive done some research and it has to do something with scaling and the macbook not really "liking" a non apple display. Apparently its looking for 220ppi and most stuff is 110 which makes everything look very blurry. (for example a 1920x1080 display is even worse but on windows all those screens look fine) Are you using some other method to get this to work since your ultraultrawide is also 110ppi? Sorry for the long question thanks already!
