Sounds killer! I've been hearing more and more about the Capo, seems rad!

Thank you! It is amazing! My brother, who is an audio engineer loves that I can give him both an affected signal and a clean signal during our recording sesh for our songs we've bee working on. So much you can do with it. I also find the channel B if you push it a bit, kinda gives a fuzz sound, which is weird sounding or think it is ugly when you play alone but when you put it in music context it sits in the mix. So many useable tones IMO.

Thank you good sir. Covers so much of the stuff that I do. Kinda miss an external compressor but the one in the stomp works fine. Cheers!

Board looks and sounds amazing, but good luck using the octave-only switch on the octabvre, no way you are able to step only in that switch right?

Thank you! I’ll just play barefoot lol. Atm I’ve not had any problems switching during our pub gigs here in London. Most songs we play won’t require me to do busy tap dancing on switches. Songs like Bad Guy by Billie Eillish and we belong together by Mariah Carey is how I ideally use it at the moment. Like in my previous video covers :)

What board are you using? And what are you using to transport it? This is the scale I’ve been dreaming of downsizing to, but it looks too deep to fit the mono tick. Thanks!

@@steffengotsch it’s a 12x8 board I found in Etsy. Bastow pedalboards from the UK is the name of the shop. Has a 3” height so very nice clearance under to mount a psu. I use as gator 12x12 mixer bag which is still very compact

Sounds great! I’m curious what drive your using in the hx stomp?
@ChaduPlaysBass

Thank you! I’m using the Teemah and I put it on path B so I can retain some low-end. Love the subtle saturation on my channel A on the Capo paired with the Teemah. That’s my go to combination on drive-y songs

Sounds awesome! What’s the signal path with the effects loops?
@ChaduPlaysBass
4 ай бұрын
Thank you! So my signal chain goes: bass into the Capo polyphonic octaver>fx loop(octabvre and doom2)>drive>chorus>reverb I like to put my 3LA in the fx loop as I have patch where I set it up with just one press it activates octabvre+doom2+autofilter+chorus for an instant moog sound. So many routing options you can do with the Capo tbh I haven't tried everything yet :D

As an owner of both doom pedals and every existing version of the Octabvre I have to say, they are highly overrated and hyped too crazy. They are good, no question especially the doom is kind of special in its approach, the Octabvre lacks clearance and has way too many „bad“ artifacts soundwise. Try the Cog Octabvre instead or the script logo mk 2 Octabvre, I sold the mk3 very very fast, for insane money. The best octave is still original OC-2. find someone who does a proper output mod and sub only switch and you have the best octave by far.
@DerRiot

And in comparison the mK2 of the Octabvre sounds way more organic and open. The mk3 always sound compressed, tracks far less good and doesn’t cut through the mix. I tried them both on live gigs.

Hey man, thanks for your insight. I’ve yet to explore my mkiii. Heard so many good things about the mkii. A bit on the fence with the octabvre but for now it is useable for me and what I do. I really want to try the cog too. The Doom2 has been amazing in my experience this one is definitely a keeper for me.
