I used my mom's 1998 HP Pavilion when I was 3, and it was running Windows 98. I remember how I always played with the themes.

I most likely built that computer back in 1995 at the North Sioux City, SD factory. You kept the old background from the factory! awesome! Good job at keeping a classic alive! Oh and the video drivers beeping is normal for the old Trident cards. Something do with switching resolutions in DOS Mode. It was more of a advisory statement If I remember correctly. Good to see MS Bob is working as designed still. :)

In 1995 I was 5 years old too and I got my very first computer: My dad's old Commodore 64 II complete with 2 floppies and a monitor. He had a 386 at that time which was running the Ford driving simulator (DOS game). Since you could paint the car I was switching through the colors and called it "giving cars color"^^
I have that same monitor right behind you at the intro!

There was also another version of Mixed-Up Mother Goose released in 1991/92, which, believe it or not, was Sierra's first ever CD-ROM game release.

hece computer, and story, and the video was really cute. I cannot stop laughing at 08:42 where it says press almost any key to continue. I have never seen this. BTW will you help me find a place to buy a old computer from the same era as the ones you collect?

Nice one there! My first computer was a 486 as well (I still have it too -- unfortunately it's in a dying state), so this one interests me. SB16 Vibra? Meh, I prefer the AWE32 (It is known as the best DOS sound card for a reason, after all!). Has SkyRoads road 3 become the new mouse lesson joke?

Shoot, I had enough trouble trying to find the any key! Now they want me to find the "almost any" key?

Who did the voice for Mother Goose in that game? Do you like playing any of the Apogee Software DOS games like Commander Keen and Rise Of The Triad etc? This machine would be perfect for such games.

You're so lucky to have the Jazz Jackrabbit CD-ROM game, they're supposedly pretty hard to find. What Broderbund Software titles are installed on that computer?
