I have never seen jiaozi as street food in Shanghai, but my favorite will always be the meat skewers where you can choose all kinds of meat that can be grilled. Everything looks so scrumptious! And it is so amazing that the street vendor foods are so cheap. However, as of 2015 I have been told that meat is getting rather expensive all over China. Authentic Roujiamo is sold no where else other than in ShaanXi province, coz that's where the food was invented. Nothing else other than long-stewed pork(you can choose half fat half lean or lean meat to be added but everyone who knows the food would choose the half and half) was added into the flour bun and the bun was toasted not fried! Please viewers don't be misled.
