I activate them...soak them in Himalayan pink salt overnight it starts the sprouting process which then removes the phytic acid. Our digestive system cannot break down and metabolise the phytic acid in nuts and legumes. So by soaking them in salt water it helps digest them and makes their nutrients more readily available to absorb.

I added all these ingredients to a smoothie. Tastes pretty good. Would be better with half a banana but since I’m prediabetic I’m going to stick with it the way it is. 1 cup frozen strawberries 1/4 cup walnuts (halves) 1/2 cup frozen blueberries 1/2 medium green apple 1 cup or so unsweetened soy milk 1tbs pure cacao powder I have 30-40lbs to lose and eating “normal” after quitting long term veganism wasn’t helping me, it was causing weight gain and health problems. So changing for the better again! Balance and consistency are KEY! 🔑

So why doesn’t it work for me? I eat every morning some walnuts with pumpkin seeds, raw, round up roasted flax seeds, and Chia seeds in cashew milk. I had a little bit of Greek yoghurt with no sugar in it and some wild blueberries and that’s my breakfast. I don’t eat lunch and I have dinner. It starts at 4:30 PM, which consist of either chicken and broccoli steamed or salmon and a salad with my dressing of pure “press virgin oil and apple cider vinegar sometimes I get a little hungry at night and I’ll have a small piece of cheese with some avocado and then I’ll work out a little bit before I go to bed. I have not lost 1 pound in over six months so why is it not working for me?

B. Gates is adding Apeel to a lot of fruits including avcadoes.Can you talk about this & how to avoid this.
@bluelotus3750
2 ай бұрын
Please, fact check yourself. Bill Gates has no ties to "Apeel". Apeel Sciences is a company that makes a product called "Edipeel", which is described on their website as an edible coating for fruits and veg to keep them "at peak" freshness. His and Melinda's foundation funded 2 studies on it in 2012 and 2015 and there is no other evidence or record of his association with that company since. The fact check done on that claim on TikTok was actually a document the AP found on a cleaning product also called "Apeel", which had no association to Apeel Sciences. Those types of coatings have been used for a couple centuries now and are typically made from fats and oils. Which can be washed off quite easily with vinegar and water.

No one in my family history lived beyond my age. Heart disease and high blood pressure are the culprits in my family. Would you consider creating a healthy once-a-day ready made snack pack?!?! Could you come up with a plan? Really. I need help with something already made that includes all of your suggestions in an easy to eat morning breakfast?!?! I have a husband fighting cancer; a grown son living at home with schizophrenia; and, another grown son living in our home who is an alcoholic. We are by all appearances an average American family with hidden problems. We still manage to keep on going in spite of all difficulties. However, I have lost all ENERGY to keep up. I am at the end of my rope. I feel that if I can lose weight and return to exercising, I might get a hold of my sanity, my clean house, and my family.
