When I got pregnant,My father who was a no nonsense guy really supported me.he told me that it was no big deal,he took me to college,he loved me and my daughter,he never gave up and told even my mother not to stress me...today he rests in peace but I still remember him that at the worst of my mistakes and in all my confusion and mess he loved me...today my daughter is 14.if it was not for my dad, I would probably have given up on life

I always feel embarassed being around friends who do drugs and are sexual active but never for a day interested in doing what they do🤕I am always triggered with my condition because I don't force it its only that all boys I have dated respects my decision when I say I am not ready and I will soon be turning 22

I am so moved and touched by her story, she an amazing orator and has come from a dark place. I know of people similarly affected where I've witnessed beauty and potential erased over the years through the scourge of excess alcohol. Non judgemental support and friendship goes a long way to helping those affected.

Thank God for your dad and your family for not being judgemental and the love he demonstrated. In our society many parents have destroyed their children's lives by constantly condemning, sidelining, dividing and mocking their situations and branding them as the "black sheep". Your story made me understand with clarity the verse in the Bible that goes.... Parents provoke not your children to wrath (Ephesians 6:4) Your dad did exactly that. His love covered a multitude of sin and protected you from so much, and refused to hand your life over to the other side (wrath). Had he not have portrayed the authority God had given him over your life and stepped aside then the enemy would have gladly taken his role over your life. The result....beautiful because you automatically honor and obey him because he brought you up in the Lord and continued doing so through the trials. And l believe that's the part most African parents miss out on and that is encouraging their children always no matter what the situation good or bad and avoid making comparisons to siblings, friends and relatives. All comparison is malicious. May God bless your father abundantly. He is an example to follow. Congratulations for pulling through, you made my evening.
