my son gave last round of interview on Apr 27 for sd1 but still he did get any response from Amazon his all rounds good

Usually if a candidate is selected then Amazon communicates the same within a couple of days. It does not take so long. Since it's been over a month from his interview, I think it is unlikely that he was selected. But no need to lose hope as he can apply again after the cool off period which is 6 months, which means he'll be eligible to apply again in November 2022.

@CodingInterviewPrep

I referred a little bit of www.educative.io/courses/grokking-the-behavioral-interview It's a very long and boring course. My recruiter had shared some previously asked questions with me along with the answers of the candidates who were selected. I mostly referred those only.
@dev-rock
Жыл бұрын
@@CodingInterviewPrep Any chance you could share those...it could really help me with my upcoming interview. Also i have mostly been into JavaScript i.e. functional programming. Do you think I could maybe get away without heavy use of classes in the LLD?
@CodingInterviewPrep
Жыл бұрын
@@dev-rock I had this interview almost 1.5 years back. I do not have those questions available with me anymore. Regarding your second question, LLD and HLD round are standard for SDE-II roles at Amazon and taken for everyone. I do not think you will be able to get away from it. Maybe you can have a talk with your recruiter and see what she has to say.
@dev-rock

@@CodingInterviewPrep I am fine with HLD, its the LLD that uses classes and what not. I have been using functional programming rather than oops hence wondering if they will be okay with me using functions rather than classes i.e. typical oops style

After clearing the online assessment of Amazon, my recruiter scheduled my interviews with a gap of 20 days. In those 20 days I had to prepare for System design, low level design and DSA so I only practiced those questions on Leetcode which were previously asked in Amazon. For Amazon interviews that much practice is usually enough.

But they are primarily focused in Java (My foreground was Python and Java script). I'm confused whether I should learn Java or find some other resources in Python for OOPS. Can you tell your opinion on what would be best?? If I should learn Java then please point out the best resources for me to follow? ❤❤ from a fellow SDE who's trying to be better at his game.
