Hello, try to put all in one collection, make a "collection instance" of the created collection, and turn off the originial or hide it, in theory you should be able to rotate, scale and move that collection instance without breaking anything, and you can still work on your proyect without destroying it ;)

Am glad could help, and theres more, You can animate inside that collection and won't break too, and place the collection instace any where in the scene, and the animación will run seamless, cheers ;)

Just found the chanel. Im also embarking this blender learning train. Did you have any prior experience with 3d sculpting or modelling?

So in my experience (and maybe it has nothing to do with your problem) whenever I have that issue where armatures or modifiers break my objects its almost always the transforms, scale being the biggest offender. for some reason blender does not like it when the scale of the object is not 1.00 and it causes weird behavior. I know that it was one of your steps to apply transforms but did you try just applying the transforms and then checking the objects? also make sure the armature itself has a scale of 1.00 (apply transforms) as that can mess with this too. In all honesty the method that javidam66 pointed out with the collections is probably more suited for this type of object since it has no moving parts but I'm sure at some point you will be interested in using armatures so it would be a good problem to solve

Hej hej, thank you so much for your comment. Yes, I've tried everything step by step and it didn't work. But the good news is, that I learned an even easier way! Check out my latest video about that, there I use a "Collection Instance" to get the job done! I got that tip from one of the viewers. Very cool! Thanks again!

i think you could parent all of them to a single empty and rotate empty

i'm new to blender too! since around last year, start because of 3d printing. in your case might be because of the origin (so axis to turn for each object are different, that why its broke. (again, maybe. :P)) still unable to do model figure, too hard for me. :D have a good day. :)

Hi! Thanks for your comment. Yeah it has probably something to do with that. Maybe in combination with the armature because it splits the whole thing into weird pieces... Eventually it worked out luckily :) Keep at it with Blender. One day we will be able to create freely with it! It takes time. I'm cheering you on!

Sorry, this might be what you did but from the video it seems like you were trying to rotate the meshes. If that's the case, you're supposed to be rotating the armature to which the object are parented instead of the meshes.

Hej! Thank you so much for your comment. I tried it out just now and it still broke. I think I'm just missing a step somewhere in the process that could/should make this work.
