Will you be able to make a Thomas Frank’s Brentford tactic? I’ve been wanting to see how you would interpret his direct vertical attacking plays with his high pressing defensive plays. Also you could make set piece tactics like the ones Brentford uses irl with the new set pieces.

Out of all the tactics you’ve make, which one is the hardest to break down and recreate in the game ?
@RDFTactics
6 ай бұрын
Honestly, I think pretty much all tactics are hard to recreate + get FM results. Admittedly, I do often sacrifice a bit of realism for results. But in terms of recreating a tactic and getting their movements - Fernando Diniz or anything ‘Relationism play’. Pep Guardiola is actually pretty difficult and mostly down to the AI being able to hold possession with weaker teams. Being able to dominate and really play in the AI’s half is difficult

Wonderful football being played with this tactic, great fun! And great to see your passion about this stuff - although I have to listen to some comments twice or with lower videospeed ;-) From my point of view, you have also taken a positive step in your way of presenting tactics compared to previous editions (where you had lost me as a follower due to my 'inability' to comprehend what you were talking about ;-)). I guess we both improved ;-) However, maybe it might still be worth a try to explain the different versions of a tactic with a little more detailed look into the different roles and the reasoning behind chosing a different role. You have already improved this as well by giving better descriptive titles. However, it might offer the average viewer an even greater learning effect to understand what the effects would be (if at all) when you chose, for example, for a poacher instead of a pressing forward. But nevermind my comments - this is great work anyway ;-)

Wish we got a tactics with 4-3-3 tiki taka average possession of 70 and 600-700+ passes a game
@Leximus100
6 ай бұрын
I had something close in my Arsenal save. But it only really worked against lesser opposition. I had a game vs Luton with 78% possession and 700+ passes. 433 DM wide. 2 Inverted Full Backs. 1 Libero, Ball Playing Defender next to him. Half back in CDM BBM x Mezzala (on support if I was using a playmaker like Odegaard and on Attack if I used someone else like Smith Rowe) 2 wingers, Martinelli was on attack and Saka switched between duties depending what the Mezzala was on, so Saka on attack if Ode on Support. I also had the wingers swap sides throughout games. Finally an Advanced Forward as its the only role that works for a striker I find. Realistically, almost all striker roles would work as the aim of the tactic is to pass the opponent to death so runners are vital but space creation is. I used Lower tempo and shorter passing with low crosses. Against better opponents I used pass into space and boosted the tempo by 1. You can use play out and work into box but the players were smart enough to know what to do and I didn't want too much restriction. Counter press, distribute to CBs. Counter when facing better teams. High press and higher line and trap outside. I was pretty happy to invite crosses considering my backline was 4 CBs. So counters weren't so much a threat. There are some roles you can play around with, like the BBM, I swapped him out for a AP on support only when Rice needed rest and it worked fairly similar. Let me know if you want any more info

@@RDFTacticsyour tactics are always interesting. If you have the time, may I ask if it matters if you have the pressing forward on the right and the false nine in the middle so the attacking mid (or potentially a shadow striker) moves into the area that I assume the false nine occupied and he moves back to where the att midfielder would have been? Or is there a need to have the pressing forward in the middle as that better helps close down and press the central defenders? Thanks in advance hopefully and keep up the great videos!

Probably your worst tactics, even for Man U this is not worth it, you want to get the best out of your players and you don’t want to play 5 players out of roles/out of position
@RDFTactics
6 ай бұрын
Please explain. Why is the tactic bad when it clearly gets results? What is it people want? Complain you get results, complain when you don’t get results. Complain it’s not realistic, complain it’s too boring…if you don’t like a certain tactic, I advice people don’t comment. Not that you shouldn’t criticise but if you don’t like a certain content, then avoid it. Works perfect for me. At Man Utd, as clear by results and average rating, I got the best out of the players lool. Who exactly is out of position? We have Garnacho out of position. Rashford as a CF is pretty perfect given his attributes minus teamwork. Who else?
@kaskovic1993
6 ай бұрын
@@RDFTactics You don’t have a proper cm at Utd you don’t have a good budget to play in that position, you playing Rashford not in the best of roles, Garnacho not in the best of roles, you have Mount or Hojland and they both not going to shine for you in this tactic.

@@kaskovic1993 but the results clearly show they perform in the roles I chose for them. In the results, Hojlund top scorer and Rashford highest average rating. And why does that make the tactic bad? @@RDFTacticsI don't get the complaints from people. It seems like from some of the comments that people are annoyed that when they use your tactics it's not just plug and play and they win all the time or something. Everyone can play how they want obviously but I don't see what there is to be annoyed about. Surely it's more fun and interesting to take a tactic you make and just at least try little tweaks as not every squad is the same. Also, people forget about player traits so even if you have players in a position with the exact same attributes, their traits could be so different that they mess with the system. I think you do a good job and people online are always going to complain. Just remember that most people won't leave a comment or even give the video a like and will just watch, be happy with what you made and move on without saying a word. Keep up the good work. Also really thought you did a good job on the FM podcast you did. I haven't listened for a few months as I've been a bit busy but plan to listen again when I have some downtime so hope it's still going as I really liked the show. Apologies for the long comment
