Very very wonderful casting! Maybe until you can have a bandsaw you could have an angular grinder to cut the sprue and first sanding? I'm learning from your work, greetings from Argentina!

Thanks you so much! I am glad my video reached you in Argentina. I have access to a bandsaw, but i kind of prefer a handsaw 😂

That looks like a great, inexpensive furnace. You definitely can melt a lot more aluminum with this one.

Hello, thank you for sharing, so satisfying to watch, such a clean output, I would really like to invest in a cnc, cutting and long for cutting extruded polystyrene?

I'm glad you enjoyed it 🔥🔥 Yes the CNC is a great tool to have in your shop. Very easy to cut the polystyrene foam.

@@HeinrichsMade How long did it take to cut your model from the video?
@HeinrichsMade
5 ай бұрын
@@CreaSonMusik I think around 30 minutes. However the time can be changed depending the size bits used. I use an 1/8" roughing bit. If I had a larger roughing bit it would cut the time down.

I see you are using extruded aluminum. Have you ever done a comparison between scrap cast aluminum vs extruded? Or have you always just used extruded?

for lost foam casting i have never seen a difference. When I cast aluminum using greensand, I definitely see a difference in the final cast.

@@jeremycrisp4488 that usually happens when you stop pouring. You need to keep pouring and keep the basin full.
